I purchased two meals from this business on 3/24/2024. One of the meals was the pollo mofongo (chicken mofongo). I ordered this meal many times from this restaurant but for some reason it tasted different this time. The outside of the molded plantains was soggy in certain areas and had a white film to it. And the meat tasted more like fish than chicken. As I tasted the food I felt the upper right hand region of my mouth begin to tingle. I immediately returned to the restaurant to explain the situation and hoped to receive a refund or at least an exchange. One of the employees put me on the phone with the manager who was not on site. The manager stated that the plantains were not fried with the fish and asked to be placed back in the phone with the employee. The employee then told me that the manager said no to me being refunded or having the meal exchanged. This left me feeling upset at the way I was treated and disappointed with the customer service I received. I am asking for a refund for the meal I was unable to consume and had to throw in the trash. Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
