Installed a heat pump at our residence 10 months ago and has never been able to make it work!

Had an awful experience with this company. If you have a ****** **** or any smart thermostat go elsewhere, their head tech Steve and crew have no idea how they work nor do they care to learn. We had a wiring issue with no power to the thermostat and other malfunctions. They sent out one tech, couldnt find the problem after 2 hours. Then they sent out their service manager Steve and Ryan, 2 hours of diagnosis and they suggested a c wire to help power the thermostat. I was questioning their diagnosis since it wasn't making sense based on what I know about my system, but trusted them against my better judgement as Steve assured me this would fix the problem. They voiced their displeasure working on smart thermostats the entire time(isn't that a big thing in their industry? I'm a bad customer because I have one of those evil smart thermostats? I digress...) The problem never got fixed and we had to hire a different company to get the job done right, without all the unnecessary repairs that taylor energy suggested. System now works perfect. We settled on a lower amount with taylor which we paid just to be done with them. Catherine the owner called me to argue the invoice, not to check and see what they can do to make things right. I was totally floored by the top to bottom dishonesty and incompentence I experienced when dealing with this company. My family would still be stuck in the heat/cold with sky high repair bills if I had to rely on this company. I highly recommend going elsewhere for your hvac needs.

Gentlemen: This summer we had a leak with our AC System at our office. Taylor Energy was called and a wonderful gentleman by the name of Oscar showed and helped us out. He was like St Nicholas. With his tools on his side, he went right to work. Oscar took his time and not only fixed the problem but also did some prevention as well. I was more than pleased with the bill. I can saw not only did I call back to schedule a regular checkup but I will also be recommending Taylor Energy in the future. Your employee deserves credit and we appreciate it. Please know this is the first time we have called upon Taylor Energy. As our previous Service Tech had passed away. 17 Sept 2021 - Owner.
