On July 28, 2022, I had an agreement KMG Home Improvement (Mr. Carlos T****** to remove garden bed framing and gravel from my property for an agreed contracted price of $1,500. I send KMG a down payment of $750.00. KMG did a very small amount of work in October, 2022. After a couple of weeks, I asked KMG for an update on continued work. On October 25, 2022, KMG informed me that it is costing them too much to dispose the gravel, but will have a new place by the end of the week. On October 26, I suggested that he dispose the gravel on my property at a total cost of $750.00. On December 12, KMG informed that Mr. T***** will stop by that week. After about 2 weeks Carlos did stop by but I was not home to talk to him. On March 19th, 2023, I asked KMG to return my deposit of $750.00 since KMG was unwilling or not able to complete the work as contracted. On March 20, I received a note from KMG telling me that Mr. T***** will come by in a few weeks to complete the work. It is now June 7, 2023, and nearly a year since KMG contracted to do this project. I am asking KMG a final time to either complete the project in a timely manner or return my deposit.Business response

Unfortunately we were not able to complete the removal of the gravel as the disposal for it was a lot more expensive than anticipated when the price was quoted. We were hoping to move and dispose of the gravel as suggested by The costumer on the property but due to health issue couldn't do that either. I suffered from herniated disk and couldn't take the chance to hurt myself more. I'm hoping to be able to return the deposit in a couple of week due to financial hardship, I'm sorry about this and i will have love to resolve this situation sooner.
