-The project was supposed to take 2 months and took 21 months to not be partially completed -$38,000 to finish the basement. -Company charged us an extra $5,000 to complete the project but did not even complete the original project proposal. -****** Building department had to inspect the project 3 times because there were multiple violations from the company and the company had no permits or licenses on file for electrical and plumbing work in the beginning. -The house was filled with smoke 3 times and had to be evacuated and made us sick due to improper use of cutting machinery. -The chimney that they were supposed to fill to bring up to code they filled it with plastic and cardboard and it had to be taken apart and redone with the proper materials. -The contractor did not know the basic codes and regulations for a bathroom in the basement and had to move the project to meet code. -The contractor originally started the project without a permit and was stopped by the owner. -The contractor was asked multiple times by the Town of ****** Building department to provide proper drawings with measurements and kept handing in drawings that did not meet code. -The plumbing that was installed was leaking and had to be corrected. -The fixtures were hung off center, not mounted properly, and the paint job was uneven. -The wall that was installed did not go all the way up to the ceiling make the bathroom closed. -Multiple electrical issues, blew fuses while working in the basement. -Company shut the heater off in the entire house and did not restart it and left the house with no heat in the middle of winter. -Looking for a refund for the extra money $5,000 that was added onto the original proposal price due to lack of completion of the project, length of time to semi-complete the work, and poor quality.
