      Merchant was offering a free bag of popcorn after making a purchase prior to January 31st 2023 and uploading a copy of the receipt via SMS (refund was to be made to ****** or ***** account linked to the phone number of the SMS). I made a purchase on January 12th and uploaded the receipt; however, the merchant responded that the "campaign" had "closed". Conditions of the offer and confirmation of the receipt upload are shown in the attached receipt. I contacted the merchant who initially responded immediately indicating that they would resolve the issue; however, they never replied thereafter and have not responded to subsequent emails.

      I had accidentally created a subscription order and had emailed lesser evil immediately letting them know. They notified me that they had canceled it but then the next month still shipped and billed me an order saying that I had created a subscription even though I had asked them to cancel it and notify them that it had been created by mistake. Order #***** This is now my second poor experience ordering from this company. The first time I ordered they sent me a shipment of popcorn without any of the seasoning on it and now this time this situation. I love their products and will continue to purchase them but never directly from them again. They have horrible customer service

      We have looked into your complaint and apologize for the inconvenience caused.


      In the email you sent us saying you created this order by mistake you asked us to cancel your order and advise if you are able to add a coupon code to your subscription. We cancelled your order per your request and informed you coupon codes could not be added to subscriptions. We also told you to reach back with any more questions. We do apologize that we only cancelled your order and not subscription also but you did not clarify that you wanted your subscription cancelled.


      We send out an email letting customers know 5 days before a subscription order is processed in case a customer needs to cancel or make adjustments. You did not respond to this email. We also send out an email stating your subscription was processed. There was no response to this email either. You did not contact us until you received an email stating your order was already shipped. Since your order was already in transit to you, we were unable to cancel the order. 


      You have now received the products and are still asking for a refund.


      As for your previous unsatisfactory order, we sincerely apologized and had our quality control team look into the unsatisfactory popcorn received. We also refunded you immediately for that order. 

      We also see another email interaction with you asking for a coupon code and we happily offered you a discount for your next purchase. 


      We always try to provide our Snack Fam with good customer service and we apologize that you feel we did not provide you with that.


      As a courtesy, we are refunding you the $29.07 you paid for this order. We hope you enjoy your free popcorn!
