Received quote for initial work from Matt in April 2022 and paid required deposit. Based on my schedule we were unable to do the work until July. When they arrived they stated the chimney was worse than previously thought…..would be a three day job rather than a one day job and $6750.00 rather than $2110.00. I agreed with the photos provided that more work was needed however due to schedules they would have to come back at a later time. They prepared a new quote and required another deposit. They returned the initial deposit check (uncashed). We agreed on the new price as a fully cash process and on 07/29/2022 I paid $3375.00 in CASH (signed receipt obtained). Following this, I have been in ouch with them numerous times (can provide detail of those interactions if needed. They have had one excuse after another, someone was out, someone else got sick and died, and they need to reach out to Matt who was the person I dealt with but he is away on business for 2 months. I have given them numerous opportunities to return my deposit or come and do the work as contracted. They have not been responsive. See attached transcripts of interchanges. Actual TEXT images also available. At this point request refund of my deposit AND some notation on their record to warn other potential clients
