On November 2020 , I did extraction and watold that I can have denture work done by this business.Sometime is March of 2021 I had Impressions done for my dentures to be made. I made a down-payment of $300, the same day. Months passed I heard nothing , because I needed the dentures I made another down-payment of $300 in June 2021. Each time I called to inquire I was told they haven't gotten back my case I was now getting frustrated , I spoke directly to the dentist who had my case, and I was then informed that due to covid there was a shortage of teeth to make the dentures They got back the dentures in October , went to fit them , they were uncomfortable because they were made of metal .The upper was a bit heavy and I decided to wear them for awhile to see the outcome. I called and tell rhe dentist I will be returning the dentures as the weren't fitting properly. She told me she would try to get the upper done in acrylic, this I okaked. Upon receiving the acrylic, I went and fitted the upper , to my surprise 5 minutes after leaving g the dentist office the front tooth fall apart. They have si ce billed my insurance I called a d complain to the insurance . I have so ce returned all three pieces to the dental office on 02/15/2022 , and haven't heard from them since. I just need my $600 back ,and the insurance payments to be reversed, as I am no longer interested in a case that took 1 year please advised me . Thanks.Customer response

So, thanks fir reaching out to me. As I have stated before, I no longer wants the dentures as I have told them that they are improperly fitting. I just need my money back and also a reversal of payment back to my insurance company, as I am still in need of getting dental work done.

I ****** ******* am a former patient of the I Smile dentistry practice. I had been a patient of theirs for about 8 years with no incident. In late 2020/early 2021 I decided to leave the practice and requested to have my records released to a new dental practice that I would be attending. Shortly after I received mail correspondence indicating a bill from I smile dentistry that I had no former knowledge of, dated back to 2019. I in turn reached out to my insurance company to see if there had been a mistake on their end as far as the claim submitted for services received on that date being filed correctly. I was then informed by my insurance company that the bill came from images taken of my teeth but was not covered due to the frequency of in a particular time frame. This prompted me to contact my former dental office to inquire about why extra imaging had been taken of my teeth without my request, especially if I didn’t receive any work on my teeth other than a routines cleaning. On this day I spoke the store location manager LIZ; who informed me that it was a mistake on their end and that it would be written off my account. Unbeknownst to me the issue was never resolved and instead placed in collections and in my credit report. Throughout the past year I have made countless attempts to resolve this matter speaking ( both over the phone and in person) to the same manager Liz, the receptionist Destiny, the regional manager missy, and have even been referred to the billing department specialist by the name of Chris. In regards to them taking responsibility on what Liz initially assured me of, which was that because of their mistake the practice would write the bill off my name/account. With all the time wasted on their behalf the bill has since made collections and landed on my credit report. As of 2/7/22 they are still dragging their feet on this issue. Therefore I have reported the practice in hopes of getting help and making sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else
