            In May of 2019 Better Business Bureau serving CT (BBB) opened an investigation on the business practices of Kat's CT Handmade after several complaints were received within a short period of time and went unanswered. Specifically, BBB looked into claims that items paid for were not being delivered even after extensive wait times. When consumers have attempted to reach out to the business through social media, most reported being blocked without any refund or delivery of the product. As of June 19th 2019, BBB complaints remain closed with no response from the business.

            BBB recommends that, when purchasing personalized items, consumers clearly communicate to the business their expectations especially with respect to the timeframe in which they expect to receive their products. It is also recommended that consumers research a business prior to purchase in order to identify valid contact information in the event an issue arises with the purchased product or service.

            On November 25, 2022, I ordered a baby shower gift from Sweet Lily Creations for $46.00. After a month without any updates, I sent an email on December 29, 2022 asking for an update and ETA for the shipment. At that time she gave an estimate that delivery times were 3-4 months. Fast forward to August 17, 2023. I still hadn't received any delivery or further communications, and her previous email was no longer active. I sent an email to the new email listed on her page *******************************, but received no further response or delivery.
