Plumbing issue not resolved. charged me 275 and didnt fix. When I called, said they wouldn't back up work and screamed at me and use profanity. 2nd company came out and fixed clog. They were suppose to go through toilet if outside drain didnt work. Instead left me with damage to floor. Said they had to come back and go through roof vent! Snake. I question this and they said do you want us to or not. Of course I needed issue fixand asked why not through toilet and they said they wouldn't. Anyway other company snaked through toilet and issue was fixed want my money back 275Business response

In response to the complaint received from *** ******* ** **** ***** ******* ****** **.
We received a service call request from Ms. ****** about her toilet backing up, we dispatched our service technician to her home to check the situation. The first technician to arrive at her home was **** ******** (he currently holds a P1 plumbing license). Mr. ******** spoke with Ms. ****** about her issue at hand, she was insistent that the clog was related to the pipe outside of her house and not in her toilet and directed our technician to an outside clean out she had. Mr. ******** opened the clean out cap to check if there was water in it (indicating a backup) there was none, at this point he informed Ms. ****** that the issue would not be resolved from this location. At her insistence he ran a snake in the cleanout (which she was not charged for). After that service was complete, he went into the bathroom to flush the toilet to check it, the toilet would not drain, and water started coming out from the bottom of the toilet and the tub area – indicating there was a broken pipe. At this point Ms. ****** started yelling and screaming at him to stop because he was making a mess. Mr. ******** with his vast experience as a plumber decided the best way to help was to have another crew come to try to snake her main line through the stack on the roof, removing the toilet to snake it was not an option because of the condition of the toilet. Our second crew arrived and ran a main line cable through the roof stack to try to clear the line, unfortunately they were unable to clear the line through the roof stack. We did charge her for this second service in the amount of $275 for services rendered.
When Ms. ****** called back on several occasions, we indicated to her that we were unable to clear her main line, she either needed to have a camera inspection to find out what was going on or call a plumbing company to have her pipe/main line repaired. At that time, we decided we did not want to involve ourselves with her because of her inability to comprehend what we were trying to explain to her and her insistence of demanding we do what she wants without taking into consideration our experience in the field.
We do not feel we owe Ms. ****** a reimbursement because we rendered services on 2 different occasions and only charged her for one visit. We strongly believe that she needs to have her main line repaired professionally.Customer response

I disagree with ******* ******* assessment. I subsequently hired another company who resolved the problem. After first snaking the bathroom drain to try to solve the problem, they concluded the clog was coming from the toilet. They then pulled toilet and snaked which resolved the issue. The conclusion was it must have been a partial clog and that explains why I was able to flush the toilet. And why only when I used the shower did I experience water leaking. My contention is if the first representative from Anytime Sewer would have pulled the toilet and snaked, I would not have had to pay a second company.

The first technician to arrive at residence was directed to the outside clean out by Mrs. ******. When the technician advised her that the problem would not be resolved by snaking this clean out she insisted that is what she wanted. Our technician did as he was instructed by the homeowner (even though there was no indication that this is where the problem was). When the first technician went into the bathroom to flush the toilet to check it, Mrs. ****** became extremely agitated and started yelling at him not to flush the toilet it was making a mess. As previously stated, we did not charge Mrs. ****** for snaking her main line through the outside clean out, even though we should have charged for this service, we instead decided to send another crew to try to snake her roof stack to clear line. We did charge for this 2nd service.
We feel we are justified for collecting payment on the 2nd service because we snaked her main line from two different locations both were chargeable services and we only charged her once.
Also, during the first visit to her home, she became extremely upset with the technician when he tried to check her bathroom. He was unable to determine exactly what was going on because she would not stop yelling at him. It was impossible for us to explain to her what we thought she needed in her agitated state.
