****** Burns the owner of Burns Capital Investments hired 3 cold callers and 1 lead miner from the ** ******* We rendered the service for an entire week but he didn't pay us. We've been trying to reach him on phone and on ******** but he blocked us on both. I called BBB and was advised by the representative to file a complaint on this website. Attached in this email is our conversation of him acknowledging that he owes us $640. In fact, he even filed a dispute on his downpayment of $200 on ******, trying to rip us off $840 in total. We have already filed a complaint on him in the state ** and we also need BBB's help. I'm hoping that BBB would help us. Businesses like this who scams *** abroad should never be allowed to have a business in your country. This is not a good practice. If they scam their employees, how much more their customers?

Earlier this year, I met with Mr. B**** about an investment opportunity in his new office in ******** **. We discussed his claimed business investment strategy of using artificial intelligence to trade cryptocurrencies on users behalves. We have had several conversations about the business and services he provides. After multiple meetings, I decided to invest and become a client on April 12th, 2022. The company appeared to run smoothly for the first two months of knowing and conversing with Mr. B****. I received verbal and written promises of official documentation such as; account statements, account numbers, and a mobile app/ website. The app was claimed to be a self-service investment portal similar to other major investment companies. Mr. B**** claimed the app could process withdrawals and deposits, as well as produce account statements for individual users. At the end of the Summer I began to follow up with Mr. ***** on my investment. I was provided a written confirmation that my account was at 5.5 Million, the promise of monthly statements again, and a confirmation date of October 12th that I would be able to withdraw profits. Since then I have reached out to Mr. B**** on multiple occasions, via call, text and email. I have not received any form of communication from Mr. B**** since September. Now in November, I still have not received any communication from Mr. B**** on my investment including account statements, app, website, or proof that the company remains operational at this point in time. Mr. B**** no longer is at his Enfield office, making an in person meeting non-optional. I believe I will never see my initial investment back. I invested approximately $6,000 throughout the first few months of knowing Mr. B****. I am left with a lack of transparency and communication. I urge the Better Business Bureau to look into this business. I fear this business is not acting in the best interest in the clients involved myself included.

I signed a client agreement on Memorial Day, May 30th, 2022 provided by Thomas B****, who runs Burns Capital Investments LLC. He told me in writing that my investment of approximately $1,000 would grow but I only received a balance once within a week of my investment which he claimed was at $1,354.32. Each attempt to contact Thomas about my account balance afterwards was ignored. As recent as October 8th he texted me about an app that requires a $5/mo or $50/year subscription fee and he also agreed to get me a statement and failed to do so repeatedly. Since I haven't heard any updates, with my withdrawal date of November 30th coming up, I am concerned I will not be getting any of my profits or my original investment back. The lack of communication and transparency leads me to believe this is a fraudulent business. I urge the Better Business Bureau to look into Burns Capital Investments as I know other clients are experiencing the same issues. I am attaching the text message conversation of Thomas misleading me and claiming my investment will go “to the moon” because of his AI trading bot.

I signed a client agreement on April 22nd, 2022 provided by Thomas Burns, who runs Burns Capital Investments LLC. He told me in writing that my investment of approximately $10,000 profited over the course of less than six months to $50 million dollars by early October. The client agreement that I have attached stipulates that I am entitled to withdrawing any profit made on my investments six months after my initial withdrawal date. He acknowledged that he would process my $10,000 withdrawal in an email on October 9th, 13 days before my six month date of October 22nd. But I never got my withdrawal and I told him through text messages and emails. I tried calling him as well, but he does not answer. There's also no place to meet him since he moved and closed his Enfield office. Communication with Thomas has long been a problem. Besides one text message citing "internet issues", he has not provided any confirmation of my withdrawal. It seems he's trapping my investment and the profits made. I urge the Better Business Bureau to look into this company. There are many other clients experiencing the same issues with investment transparency and lack of communication. I believe this is a fraudulent business and am concerned I will never see the profits I made or get back my initial investment. I've expressed my concerns in the last two weeks but have been ignored by Thomas. He told me his AI trading bot that runs on an ****** server sees high returns with crypto but he never provided any online evidence of his technology or my account. He said in a text to me in early October that he was going to have an app up soon that shows clients' account balances but he would need $5 per month or $50 per year for you to have access. This I feel could be another scam. After telling him I'd like to withdraw the $10,000 profit as well as see a visual of this app, I haven't heard anything on his mobile app.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I am waiting for Burns Capital Investments to fulfill my $10,000 investment withdrawal request and have asked the business to put in writing using the Better Business Bureau’s portal, that this is being done to verify my withdrawal.

      Sincerely,

      ******* ************

Earlier this year I invested with this company and since then I have only recieved $1,000 out of my investments from a withdrawl and payment dispute I already had earlier this year with this individual. I requested $6,350.00 on July 18th and I still haven't recieved despite him saying it would only take a few weeks at most. He has lied, procrastinated and hasn't so much as given me an account balnace. If I were you, I would seriously look into this company because word has it that he hasn't been paying other clients what he owes them. This could potentially be a massive scam scheme and I feel you guys should make this urgent because you will most likely get a lot more complaints from others. Plase help me figure this out before it goes to court!

      Dear Better Business Bureau:
To whom it may concern.  As a client of Burns Capital Investments in Enfield CT, It was agreed upon that we would receive monthly statements of our accounts until the company's "APP" had all of its bugs / failures removed.  Thomas B**** (owner) made it seem as if it would ONLY take days, after 8 months of NOT having the app available and noticing major discrepancies in accounting,  some clients are now NOT receiving account statements at all!

We would like  Burns Capital Investments to "post" its monthly percentage gains for all of its clients by via email or website. (The percentage gain should be the same for every client but the actual value depends on the client's personal account activity. (deposits, withdrawals and original deposit etc.)which will remain private.

Also, in contrary of our contract,  Mr. B**** has NOT honored  multiple withdrawal requests. Thomas and I agreed to a ten thousand dollar deposit into my  personal bank account. The money was taken from my account with Burns Capital Investments, but never deposited into my personal bank account! Furthermore, a separate,  second request of 250 thousand dollars was totally ignored until the local authorities  got involved and determined the complaint was civil. Mr B**** did reply to the ******* Police Department and stated funds could be withdrawn from my account at the end of the year. (Contract states 6 months)  Please ask Mr. B**** to honor his contract and to at least take the time to respond and explain the reason of  denial! Mr. B**** does have the tendency to ignore his clients at the most inopportune times.

As an initial invester, I've realized the amount of capital allegedly generated. May I suggest equal share of expense in hiring a third party to monitor, calculate and distribute dividends? Mr. B**** has made several mistakes with accuracy of accounting and all mistakes have benefitted Burns Capital Investments. These are the issues:
The APP. Does it exist ?
Does his company really owns shares?
      Poor communication
      Inaccuracies in accounting
      Failure to distribute funds
Lack of Transparency in the company's polocies, mission & operations.

I really believe Mr B**** has profited since the start up of his company  and some clients are STILL showing profits each and every month from OUR investment ACCOUNT. So why the lack of transparency and the denial of dividends to those who notice inconsistencies?
Mr B**** gets 1 out of 5 stars.
Please help us in any way possible!
      Thank you.
