I reached out to Mr. Handyman Services of Fairfield County at the end of May 2022 for a service project to be initially completed in July. I prepaid $500 on my credit card for the service. I called Mr. Handyman once again to reschedule that appointment. Soon after that and because of a more significant, pressing issue in my home I had to cancel the service project and made that call on June 01, 2022. I was told, by Bob that instead of crediting my card a refund check would be sent to me. I have not received the refund check to date and called Mr. Handyman again on June 18, 2022 inquiring about the refund and when it would be sent. Debbie answered the phone and indicated that she sent the check (I never received a check from the company) and that she would resend another (why not reverse the credit card charge?). I am still waiting and today is June 23, 2022. I have since filed a dispute with my credit card company and am also now placing a complaint on BBB.Customer response

I am reaching out to inform you that I received the refund for the cancelled services today, check # ***** from Mr. Handyman of Greater Fairfield.
This matter is now resolved.
