I thought I would give Painting by Beth a chance as she had good reviews. I hired her to paint my porch. When I got back from vacation, I checked out the paint job. There were bubbles over certain areas of my porch floor. When I had asked her about it, she said that it was not her paint job, but divets. You can push on them- they are not divets. She did not take pride in her work, or try to fix it when it was originally done before I got back. The painter who did my porch previously- there were no bubbles from his work. I had also asked if she weeded. She said yes, and ripped out all my flowers in the front of my garden. They definitely did not look like weeds. She didn’t message me to ask or inquire before ripping everything out. I had assumed she could tell difference between a weed and a plant. She also said she sent me a picture of that area, but I have proof that she did not. In her text to me, she said all I said to her was Hi. We had spoken about the paint job in detail, previously in person and through text, and I had told her the areas I had wanted weeded. Someone shouldn’t say they can weed if that’s not something they can do. I just felt she was defensive and not very professional. She texted me she was done. I now have to go buy all new flowers for that area, and that will cost me hundreds. I truly recommend you look elsewhere for your painting needs. I’m not one to write reviews, but I think everyone should know about this situation. She should reimburse me for the loss of my flowers I now to rebuy which is around 300 bucks. Plus I have to hire someone to fix her work. Very dissatisfied. The picture she said she sent were not sent to me. She posted those pictures on Facebook regarding our personal issue which is totally unprofessional.
