Splash Wash a car is charging me twice for an unlimited car wash monthly fee. One charge is from the SplashCar Wash in *** *** and the other is from the one in ******. I tried to reach out to the main office unsuccessfully because there was no one human being answering the phone and in the end, the answering service just hung up saying they would call me back.Initial Complaint

Splash Car Wash last February 2024 did not cancel a one-month promotional offer. I had canceled it in person at their front desk. They then went on to take from my debit card an unauthorized monthly charge for ten months of $74.43. They owe me $740.43. They may also owe me an additional $74.43 for January 2025. I went there after months of not visiting on January 13th and was informed to my shock of this longtime error. I received a curt email from Customer service just now offering me one month $74 of credit , not the $740 charged. They attached my original sign up for the one month promotional of February 2024 and apparently did not find no paperwork for the my in person at the front desk cancellation within the promotional month. This is their "offer" and is entirely unacceptable.
One of our sons, who is a ***, says this probably happens all of the time and unsuspecting people like me, did not check after I verbally in person cancelled something. I even told this young woman I was cocnerned that it might not get properly cancelled. She said she "checked" and it had all been cancelled. Did I ask for her name, phone number and proof that day. I did not.
What they attached has some of my handwriting and someone else's handwriting with figures on it as their "proof" i signed up for ten months unlimited forever for a service I did not authorize and have never ever used.
What next? The local manager earlier today took my call together and said he has nothing to offer. All comes through customer service. I sent this attached email.
Can you assist in resolviing this? I will never ever sign on for any short term promotion of any kind. It is clearly a revenue producing , regularly used gambit, if not outright scam. That is clear.
I will also go out of my way for people to never use Splash .

I am a monthly member for the Splash Car Wash in my town. On November 23rd my car was damaged by machine malfunction. The back wing/spoiler of my SUV was removed by one of the machines. I was then directed to the body shop that the car was uses for repairs. The part for my vehicle was ordered and replaced days later. I had to report back to the body shop days after for a additional part that was not ordered. My car was finally repaired on December 7th. On December 15th I went back to the car wash and my car was damaged again by the same machine, same wing/spoiler of my car was broken once again. I am currently still dealing with having my car repaired. To my knowledge the manager at the car wash is aware of the mechanical failure because the second time my car was damaged, the manager said to me "you were hit at the first part of the wash" and I said yes. Both incidents with 2 body repairs have diminished the value of my vehicle. The time I have spent going back and forth to the body shop for repairs is a inconvenience and I am seeking compensation. The most recent time I tried to cancel was 11/30 and I spent 1/2 hour on hold and finally got a representative. After providing an unreasonable amount of details (I believe intended to frustrate people so they give up) I was assured I would not be charged any more, after months of trying to get satisfaction. This morning (12/07/24, there was yet another $42 charge to my credit card). This company is deceptive and preys on people who get too frustrated to hold SPLASH accountable. This has to ends. Splash car wash offered an introductory free month long car wash. I had quality issues with their service so decided to cancel up coming subscription. I canceled about 8 days before subscription ended in person at Splash Car Wash. I was given a receipt for cancellation. I continue to be billed for 2 months now. I have notified my credit card company and filed a dispute. Splash have not been helpful even though I sent them a copy of my cancellation from my in person request. On October 8th our account was charged 47 dollars for an ultimate wash package and this was not the quoted price at the time of purchase. A call was made and the account was cancelled and requested refund. On November 8 another charge for 47 dollars was taken from our account and another call was made. I inquired about the 1st refund that hasn’t been received and then complained about the 2nd charge. I have called this business several times and I keep being told that the refund is being worked on. I called this morning 11/15 and was told a message was sent to a supervisor. It’s now Friday afternoon and I have heard nothing, have not received any refund nor have I received a phone call. I can’t believe that this business would let this go on for this long. I have never had this issue as long as it has been with this company.Customer Answer

about a month and a half ago my wife brought her ******** at the car wash in ***** **. During the wash the emblem was broken. the manager at the time found the emblem on the floor and promise to have it fixed in no time. 2 week later we find out he was no longer there and my wife filed again a form with a new manager (Donte) since then we called. drove by and called different numbers provided by employees( most of the times we received incorrect emails and phone #) and no answer from anyone. I am very disappointed that as of today we do not have our car fixed. At this point i may need to fixed it myself. On 8/19/24, a Splash Car Wash employee damaged the front windshield camera on my car. I have video proof, but could not upload the video. I showed the video to "assistant manager #1" who was very helpful that day. I completed the form and then sent him the cost and the video of the employee damaging the camera. I have sent him over 10 emails, I sent the Splash corporate office an email, and I recently spoke with "assistant manager #2". However, to this date, I have not received a check. I was told the check was requested on 9/23/24. I feel I am being ignored and they are not responsive to me. Thank you ****** ******Customer Answer

I visited Splash Car Wash on May 1 or 2, 2024 to cancel a monthly membership fee that was due to renew on May 3, 2024. I filled out a cancellation form and submitted it to the worker. On May 6 I noted that Splash Car Wash removed $35.63 from my bank account. On May 9 (or thereabouts) I again drove to Splash Car Wash, spoke with a person who stated he saw his manager and my membership would be cancelled and account credited. I was told that I should not have been charged and needed to give additional time for that processing. As of today, May 20 - I have not seen the $35.63 returned to my bank account. Opened a monthly unlimited carwash membership with the company at the *********** ** location 1/16/2023. I called to cancel the membership 8/2023. I was being billed monthly after I cancelled my membership. After being billed for September, October, November, and December of 2023, January 2024, I was able to escalate the issue (after many phone calls and multiple times of giving my information out) and was speaking with a man named Steve. Steve assured me my information had been taken out of the system and I would not be billed again. He said they would issue me a refund, which they did. Unfortunately, I have continued to be billed. I have been billed February, March, April, May, and now June of 2024. I have tried calling. I have left a message for corporate. I do not/should not have to cancel my credit card due to the company being unable to completely cancel a membership. I would like a complete refund and my membership to actually be cancelled.
