I booked a hotel for a week long workshop. I was informed that the workshop was being shortened and travel site said my reservation was "unamendable". I contacted hotel directly, but they stated there was no reservation for me AT ALL. My credit card had already been charged. I called and they said they would fix it. A few hours later I received at text saying my reservation was made and paid for. I was given a number to call if I had trouble checking in. I called the hotel to confirm and they said there was a reservation made for me. The day I arrived at the hotel, I was told my reservation was canceled 5 minutes before I arrived. I called the number given to me in the text and no one answered. I called the other number and they said they would "expediate" my reservation and I would receive a call within 15-20 minutes. The call never came. The hotel had a room available, but I had to pay for it again after my credit card had already been charged once. DON'T use this site. Hello I understand that this was non refundable. However I bought XCover; whom you “3rd party with” to be able to change my booking & insure it for any reason so there for IT SHOULD BE REFUNDABLE OR CHANGEABLE. But to your business convenience “YOUR 3rd party” DOES NOT OFFER ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE. So to your advantage you cannot do anything for me but take my money. GOSPLITTY IS A SCAM. XCOVER IS A SCAM. I will dispute these charges & I will warn everyone I know not to use this horrible travel agent. I will find out where your location is in America and take all legal actions with the State of Department that I need to deal with personally to defend this very misleading, unhelpful “service.” DO NOT USE THIS SCAMMY TRAVEL AGENCY THEY ARE LOCATED IN *****. I booked the room on June 30, 2024 but the hotel didn’t have the room that I reserved when I checked in, the manager asked me to contact Gosplitty for refund because it is the third party charged my money but gosplitty’s phone number is out of service and no one responds my emails at all.Review from Luxi H

omg!! believe it is only 1star!!! I wish I could read these reviews at the very beginning then I won’t lose my money! They cancelled my hotel booking last minute! WTF!!! Price went double/ triple higher after these months I reserved. How come you cancel it without any make up? ? I wish I could give them a negative stars!!!!!Review from Brandon G

Awful … do not book through them! They promised room booked had pull outs and when arrive did not and couldn’t change anything with hotel since booked 3rd party. Call reps and they passed around and gave the run around and never resolved promised booked room . Never gain!Review from Anna L

I made a reservation through GoSplitty and didn't realize I made a reservation under a "non-refundable rate." The non-refundable statement isn't very apparent on the website, and you can easily make this mistake. To make matters worse, my trip got canceled. I reached out to GoSplitty to ask what I can do - if I can process a cancelation and get a refund; however, I was never able to get a hold a representative on the phone. All you can do is email this company. I thought that since they have a phone number, I could at least call them. I'm booking directly with hotels from now on.Review from Robin R

RUN !!! They canceled my 6 day hotel reservation the night before we were to fly out! Spent 4 hours scrambling trying to find another hotel in area. AWFUL! Who does this to people. The night before??? I could just about cry. The stress. ****** area is a busy place and we went almost an hour out before we found another hotel. THEN...we have to stay in two different hotels. I'm stunned. NEVER TRUST THIS SPITTY !!! Can I give a zero rating ? Can I give a below zero rating?Review from Joe D

This Company is a total scam! I booked a hotel yesterday for a stay last night with one of their sales associates and they booked the wrong date because when I showed up at the hotel, they didn't have a room for me and told me my reservation was booked for August 11th (almost 3 months in the future). GoSplitty made the mistake, and now they won't issue a refund? Further, the sales agent never told me the reservation was non-refundable. You can't even get a customer service agent on the phone despite repeated requests. You have to communicate through email with them, and the responses appear canned. Stay far, far, FAR AWAY from doing business with this company. Wished I could leave them ZERO stars. I am going to report them to the BBB and the State Attorney General's office.Review from Ryan H

I had a reservation. I called the actual hotel 2 days before our intended stay and the hotel said it showed the reservation as cancelled on their side and there was no reference to splitty. They saw it as a ******* reservation. I called ******* with the reference number the hotel gave me. ******* had no record. I called Splitty customer service several times that day. I would get a recorded message saying their agents were busy. I would get the recorded message again and then it would hang up. I emailed their custumer service twice that day. We ended up changing our plans and I disputed the charge on my cc. They eventually contacted me the next day and said they would attempt to cancel my reservation and give me a refund. I followed up and they have not contacted me back. Do not use them.Review from Julie P

I wanted to cancel my reservation and they would not honor there own policy.
