      Tuesday march 5th I went to Tintmaster of Hartford (** ******* **.) to get a quote to have my new vehicles windows tinted. I was told $379 for everything plus $80 for the windshield. I did not get a written estimate, just verbal. I gave the ok for that amount and scheduled the appointment for today Friday March 8th at 1030 am. I was forced to wait as I did not have a ride. They didn't get my vehicle in until almost 1130 am (an hour after my scheduled appointment). When they finished my vehicle around 3pm the owner handed me a written invoice charging me almost double what I agreed to. He handed me a bill for $850.69 which I immediately told him that is not what you told me nor would I have ever agreed to pay that amount. I was forced to pay because the work was already completed and if I left it would be theft and I did not want to get in trouble. I left the office to inspect the work and was appalled by the condition my brand new $105k vehicle was left in. Trash and liquid soap all over the interior and exterior of my brand new vehicle. They also completely drained the 2 batteries in my vehicle and needed to jump start it. This process forced my vehicle to alarm 60+ vehicle codes and my vehicle would not run properly. I was forced to drive in limp mode to the nearest dealership (******* **** in **** ********) to see if they could fix the issues. After an hour they had me up and running again. Upon arriving back home I further inspected my vehicle only to notice they had removed my license plate for unknown reasons and did not put it back in my vehicle. I've tried contacting the business owner for 2 hours before they closed to get my license plate back but they blocked my number. I contacted my local police department to explain the issue and they directed me to ******** ** which told me I need to file a report in person. Now I'm forced to drive my only vehicle with no license plate and risk being ticketed because of this.

      On top of all the other issues, the tint on my windshield was done improperly and needs to be redone. The tint in the drivers side corner can not be fixed. The tint needs to be removed and replaced per *** ******* ***** *** **** of **********.

      Quote from a reputable window tinting company that found numerous imperfections and damages to my vehicle. The quote and photos of the meter readings show and prove this job was done poorly and extremely uneven in the quality of tint on my windows. Further proof that I was charged for a window film I did not receive.
