              I had a lapse in my trash payment and without notification anywhere on their website or in writing, they seized my Garbage cans though I made immediate payment that day and they did not promptly return them. When this had happened in the past, they would call and I would simply pay immediately. This time, no call. They are arbitrarily making policy and seizing rented property without any warning. This is also creating a sanitation and health issue. These techniques of intimidation and retribution for a fundamental town service that the town has contracted out for its residents is unacceptable and punitive and should not result in 5 days without garbage cans. On a positive note, their pickups are prompt.

              All Waste, Inc. follows a standard procedure for customers who do not submit payment in a timely fashion including messages on billing statements, a letter of pending shut-off of pickups, then shut-off of pickups, then removal of equipment - all in a fair and equatable time frame to allow for restitution of service. This was followed during the recent removal of equipment, as it had been used several previous times just this calendar year. Payment was received last Thursday, and carts were replaced on Tuesday. We believe this to be a fair response given our efforts to receive payment in a fair and timely fashion. Thank you.
