I started out with polite request. It was repeated several time over several years. It is still going on today. I want them to stop sending ******* ValuMail junkmail advertisement. Mostly, it is companies an hour away, in any case - I am not going to drive to ******** to buy sundries... It is hard to get in contact with them. They don't like to answer their phone or return calls. They ignore email. If I finally do get through to someone, they tell me to "just throw it away." They tell me it is not a list, but the post office gives one to every box holder. (Not true: it bears my address.) They tell me they don't send it; must be somebody else. They tell me *they* don't consider it junkmail. It used to come to "resident" at my address, now comes to "postal customer" at my address. Used to be one copy, now i get two copies a month apart. (IE, they put me on the list twice.) I want them to stop sending junkmail, to take me off (all) lists and not put me back on; nor to provide my address to some other list/company/division that will send junkmail. I don't care if they cut down trees just throw them into the landfill themselves.Business response

The address was added to the Valumail DND sheet in July. It takes a few months to come off the file as the mail files are ordered about 2 months in advance. I have requested the address be manually removed from the file for Sept & Oct, as those mail files are already in the system, and will verify it is not in the November file as well when that is received from our list vendor.

I am rejecting this response because: I don't believe them. I do not trust them, not after however many years. Seems like I was told this before and either nothing happened or they put me back on the list at some later date.But I will keep this response for my lawyers, being inches away from harassment suit.

I am sorry that the customer rejected the response. I have followed up with our production department regarding this. I have requested confirmation that the address is no longer in the mail file and have been told it was removed. We are working to have it removed from the September ValuMail file, as that list was already uploaded in our system and we are trying to find a manual way to remove it at this time. I am assured it will not be in the October or November files and moving forward.........he may reeceive September if we can not manually remove it from our system, but he will not receive it after that time.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: Actions speak louder than words. The people at ******** ******* & ******* Valumail rave a history of saying one thing but doing another, in my case, of removing me, then adding me back. I will belive it when I see it - or rather, when I don't.

I again apologize that this has taken so long. It normally takes about 2-4 months for an address to come off the mail file as the files are ordered months in advance of the actual mailing. I am sorry he is rejecting our response.
Today is my last day with the ******** *******. Any future complaints can be sent to ******************** and ******************

I am rejecting this response because: my continued rejection mirrors your insistance on sending me junk mail. It is annoying, isn't it? Obnoxious.Guess I am stubborn about not liking that companies take advantage of people - of me. It took four months for your company even to respond to my BBB complaint. You ignored it, as you ignored me asking to be removed from your list. Seems like anyone to be taken in good faith would have responded much faster. Seems like someone *could* have removed me from the list - started the process then, not just recently.
I wish you luck in your next job, but I hope you will not still be in customer 'service.' (I don't think that is your forte.)
