      This dealership is over charging for " market adjustment " on all vehicles, as well as forcing customers into protection packages, and theif packages I didn't ask for. They also are insisting on customer finance only through their bank. This is highly illegal and shady! This dealership owner needs to be fully investigated!

      I bought a 2017 ******** *** ***, from the land rover of Hartford, **. I put down 3500 $. It's been close to 3 months I still did not receive my registration and the ** plates. It still have a Dealer plates. Call them every week for the problem but false promises. Today NOV 7 th, I talked to the general manager name Aaron, he said he'll look it in to the problem, I came to find out they still as of today don't have the title I need some sort of compensation form them for the anxiety, cause I bought the car for a purpose, and it's just parked in my driveway.

      I brought my 2017 ********* in for a repair (March 2023) due to a leak in our driveway. I quickly discovered it was a small amount of coolant. This had never happened (leaked). I immediately took the vehicle in for service and was told Land Rover Hartford would get back to me with an assessment. A couple of days later I was called and explained the vehicle needed a water pump. I gave Land Rover Hartford permission to repair the vehicle with a water pump. I was called a few days later and told the vehicle was on a lift getting repaired and the engine shut off. I was also told, this is no cost to you and we will find out the issue and get back to you. I was then called back a day or so later and told the vehicle needed and entire engine replacement. Not only was I confused but I was also upset being Land Rover was working with engine fluids and the vehicle was in great running condition. Sounded like Land Rover Hartford did not put fluids in the vehicle but tried to blame us for it. I would like my vehicle returned in the same condition as when it was left at the dealer, which is in running condition. I have also requested all records of repairs or service from Land Rover Hartford but have never received them.

      I had my car towed to the land rover dealership because my car would no longer go i to gear after attempting to leave **** wherd I had just shopped. The service guy at the dealership told me the problem was that I needed the shifter knob replaced. I ask “are you sure its not the transmission?” He assured me that the diagnosis tool “did not lie” The next day he called me back to inform me that it did need a new transmission after all that “it was an expensive experiment” to replace the shifter but that he had to charge me for it because now it had been “burned” permanently into my vehicle. That they would not let me have my vehicle back unless I payed them for the shifter $1500. which I payed then had it towed back to my house. When i had ask if he was sure it wasn’t the transmission he told me that they were bullet proof and had never heard of one going bad. I later found out that there had been a recall on that exact vehicle because of transmission problems. I think he had knowingly decived me in order to keep me from leaving without making a profit. I have text messages and a video of them telling me i needed now tires (tired are 10 months old) a turbo replacement and a new timing chain. All this before they even diagnosed anything about the tranny. My vehicle ran perfectly before the transmission issues which proves they were just trying to get me to spend my money. Im 61 years old ***** ******* ******* and have alwsys taken great care of my cars. bottom line is they misdiagnosed the problem and charged me for a repair that had nothing to do with the actual problem the kept my car hostage.
