  Had taxes prepared by this tax preparation business, I received assessments from ************* **** ** ******* for 2019 and 2021 tax returns, both were errors committed by preparer and costly to me in total of just under $900, I reached out to the preparer but no response. I then reached out to the owner and was given the run around with also no accountability for their mistake. At this point this is my only option of accountability.. Thank you **** * ******

  **** was audited on his **** *** ****** because he did not bring in all of his income for the tax year.  Mr. ****** had missing income from the original tax return.  He also did not bring in any tax documents or letter he received from *****  

  I was here all year myself and I did not get a call from **** stating he was trying to contact Shawn.  

  We prepare the tax return based on the information the clients provide at time service is rendered.  If the client did not provide all documents the client is responsible for any additional taxes plus interest owes to the *** ** **** *** **********.  It is the client's responsibility to provide Tax Plus LLC with all tax documents.

  I’ve done my taxes here for 3 year and each year there has been an issue. The first 2 years I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Last year they said that someone already claimed my daughter and that I should do my taxes without her. I later found out that she entered my daughter’s Security number wrong. This year has been the worst service I received from them. I went in the day of my appointment, completed most of my taxes, but I was missing the childcare tax ID. I emailed her (Sam) the information the next day and she responded that my taxes have been submitted on April 4th. 60 days later I noticed I haven’t received my refund. I emailed them and didn’t receive a response, I went in person and no one was able to locate my file, I called a bunch of times and they kept telling me they’ll call me back and I never hear from them. Finally I told them that I’m not waiting for a call back and that they should have my file ready when I go in. I went in and I finally got my file, but when I went to the IRS to track my refund the IRS couldn’t locate it. Apparently my taxes were submitted June 2nd and my childcare tax ID was never entered. At this point, they lied, submitted my taxes late, & didn’t enter the complete information. I called to get a refund for the horrible job they did and got the same run around. Finally I spoke to Shannon who asked me what happened. As I’m explaining i’m mentioned that Sam did my taxes, but the owner actually submitted them the day I picked up my file up. She rudely said “ he is my father stop calling him the owner” as if I’m supposed to know the relationship without her introducing herself. She then proceeded to explain that I am not getting a refund because they did the job and hung up on me. I explained to her that I was lied to and If I never would have called; my taxes would have never been submitted. The taxes were even done correctly. I don’t understand how this kind of service has received 4 stars.
