We hired this company to repair a stone wall that was collapsing in our front yard. The owner gave us an estimate of $7500. stating that he would repair the wall and back fill with drainage material to help prevent further issues. He told me that it may take a few days and may also involve police due to the fact that the wall bordered a road and may need to have traffic control. He and one other worker were here with their equipment for one day and told me that it was not feasible to backfill or put drainage in and was only able to complete one part of the wall. He still charged me the $7500. which I paid. Later in the day I emailed and wrote him stating that since he could not do what he had initially agreed upon, that I felt I had paid too much for the work that was done. He left me a phone message agreeing with me and he would give us a refund for the backfill, stone and a days worth of work. He also offered instead to put the refund towards another job renovating our back patio. I told him that if he would give me an estimate for that job, I would consider it. He came and took measurements and discussed the patio job with me but then I didn't hear from him. After repeatedly calling and texting him approx. 18 times ( I finally got a vague offer via text to do our patio and would credit us with $2000. worth of materials. He also requested that if he did the job, he would like to be paid cash. I never received an estimate in writing and felt that he was not interested in working things out. I wrote and asked him as well as texted that I would like a refund. He has refused to answer any correspondence or efforts to resolve since I asked for a refund. I just would like a refund for work that was not done. This problem has been ongoing for 10 months with no resolution.Customer response

I am writing to let you know that my complaint about Comer Landscaping (#********) has been resolved. After various texts and emails we came to a financial solutions that was fair. I appreciate the fact that the company was willing to make things right and I applaud them for finding amicable grounds to solve the problem.
