This happend on 6/22/24. I went to cell phone world for a phone case. The man working there agreed to give me a deal. He said if I bought the case for $20, he would sell me a screen protector (that's usually $10) for an additional $5, totalling $25. After I scanned my card he claimed my PIN didn't go through and had me do it again and I complied. Days later, I found on my bank statement that "Cell Phon Cell Cell Phone World ********** **US" charged me the $26.59, PLUS another charge the same night under: "******** ***** *********** ********** **US" for $20.43. I did NOT purchase anything else from the mall that night so I know it came from that store. It's not a lot of money but I'm concerned it's part of an elaborate scam. Not only did he intentionally make me put my card through for a separate price, it didn't come up as Cell Phone World so I was unable to dispute it with my bank.Initial Complaint

On 12/5 I had the back glass of my ****** ** *** replaced at this store. Immediately after getting in my car I noticed my battery draining. I went home and charged it. My phone kept overheating while charging. I tried rebooting. My phone now overheats to the point of melting my case and battery only lasts 1-2 hours when it use to last 36 with normal use. If I attempt to talk on my phone it heats up to the point of burning my ear and face.
