In April 2024, BBB contacted R & R IV Drip Bar regarding claims in its advertising.

Its website, Facebook page, and other online advertising include many health benefit claims related to the IV drip treatments offered at its facility, such as:
"Recovery and Performance: Designed to help shorten the time of recovery after an injury and potentially improve athletic ability, promote improved performance and overall wellness."
"Immunity: Help your immune system, prevent illnesses and make you feel better faster after getting sick."
Vitamin B12 Treatments: "The proven absolute best way to supplement vitamin B12 is with an injection or IV infusion. It is a well-studied and understood molecule. Regular B12 injections, as little as 1 milligram per month, helps to lower homocysteine levels in the blood which reduces the probability of heart diseases and strokes. B12 injections act as a stimulant for energizing the body; a 6-7 milligram dose of vitamin B12 injection per week for 3 weeks is a recommended cure for chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS)."
Myers' Cocktail "Fight: Migraines, Fatigue, Dehydration, Depression, Anxiety, Asthma, Hangovers, Cold + Flu, Allergies"
"Glutathione Benefits: Reduces oxidative stress; May improve psoriasis; Reduces cell damage; Improves insulin resistance, Increases mobility; Reduces symptoms of Parkinsonism; Fights autoimmune disease"
According to the BBB Code of Advertising, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.  For medicinal, therapeutic, and ingredient claims or claims to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any illness or disease, scientific clinical evidence from human clinical trials is preferred to support these claims.  The business did not respond to BBB's request that it provide substantiation for these claims.

Its Google page includes the following customer testimonials:
"The Myers cocktail has has helped me in the management of my MS symptoms. I find I don't have as many flairs after receiving an infusion."

According to the BBB Code of Advertising, advertising which uses testimonials or endorsements is likely to mislead or confuse if it contains representations or statements which would be misleading if made directly by the advertiser.  Advertisers must be able to support claims found in the testimonials used in their marketing. The business did not respond to BBB's suggestion that if substantiation is not available, they should remove such testimonials.
