A month ago, my car broke down so I called D&D transmission to tell them about the situation with my car. four months prior D&D installed a used transmission in my vehicle. So D&D told me to bring the vehicle in so I towed the car to them they have diagnose the car needed another transmission. Thereafter, ***** *** ****** transferred the part(transmission) to D&D where they replaced the old transmission and then installed the newer transmission. Long story short, D&D did not complete the task of installing a functional transmission, but they force me to pay $2400. Both D&D and *** wanted to take my car to *** for a diagnosis that D&D could not do, after I paid them $200 extra then D&D agreed to install a functional transmission(they never did). Once my car has been towed back to them they refuse to take my car back after they were paid $2400 and agreed to install functional transmission, which would have been produced by my warranty. Can you please help me with this matter?

We were paid to removed and installed a used transmission which the customer purchased. Customer was only charged for the labor we provided and was informed to contact their supplier. Any warranties are those made by the manufacturer only as stated on the invoice. Customer called on June 15th and apologized and said we were correct based on the diagnosis from another facility that the transmission is no good. On June 16th @ 2:01pm customer call and threaten the staff of D&D Transmission even though the issue with the transmission is that of the supplier only.

About Four Months ago, I purchased a transmission($670) from "***** * ******* **** **** *****" and the part had a six months warranty on the part(transmission). I had the part installed by "D&D Transmission/Auto Repair Service"($2,400). Four months later, my car had a mechanical problem then I brought my vehicle back to "D&D Transmission/Auto Repair Service" to get it diagnosed their finding was the part(transmission) that was installed four months ago has failed(no longer functional). I have called "***** * ******* **** **** *****" to discuss about my six-month warranty($670 covered) to tell them the part has failed. So I paid $481.24 extra money for a better part(transmission) as with the cover amount from before(warranty). Thereafter, "***** * ******* **** **** *****" transferred the part(transmission) to "D&D Transmission/Auto Repair Service" where they have replaced the old transmission then installed the newer transmission. "D&D Transmission/Auto Repair Service" reached out to me saying that the transmission did not shift in gear so the transmission was not good. "D&D Transmission/Auto Repair Service" reached out to "***** * ******* **** **** *****" to inform them about the transmission problem with a diagnostic report. Based on the report, "***** * ******* **** **** *****" says, "According to the codes, The vehicle needed to be reprogrammed in order for the transmission to be functional, which is included in the installment of the transmission and they had a verbal discussion(dispute between the mechanic and "***** * ******* **** **** *****" over the phone while I was on threeway)". Therefore, "D&D Transmission/Auto Repair Service" did not have the proper equipment to fix the transmission and "***** * ******* **** **** *****" says they will give me a transmission because their transmission is functional/working based on a report from "D&D Transmission/Auto Repair Service". In conclusion, can you please help me resolve this problem.

Customer called and asks D&D Transmission to install a used transmission they purchased in January 2022. Transmission was installed and road test ok. Customer called on Saturday 04-30-2022 stating vehicle would not come out of park while engine is running. Vehicle was towed in by customer on 05/02/2022 our diagnosis was used transmission slipping and chattering in all gears. Customer stated they had warranty spoke with their supplier and another used transmission was delivered to D&D Transmission to be installed per customer request. Used Transmission was removed the other used transmission installed and rechecked transmission does not shift into upper gears. Customer supplier insisted there is nothing wrong with the transmission and they would have to take the vehicle to *** dealer to have it checked before they can replace it with another.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: D & D transmission did not finish the process in installing the transmission the warrenty of ***** *** ****** stated, "he need to finish installing the transmission by reprogramming it" so he did not have the proper equipment to install the transmission, which means that he did not complete the job and he was already give $1000 and is refusing to finish the job.

      Sincerely,

      ***** *******
