I went to Diva Nails & Spa (*** ***** **** ******** ** *****) on 2/3/24. I had a pedicure I am satisfied with. However, I paid for a full set of acrylic nails which I am completely unsatisfied with. The nail tech cut me on 3 different fingers, causing me to bleed and endure awful pain. The nail tech did not administer basic first aid, simply wiped the blood off my bleeding fingers with a dirty towel, possibly exposing my body to infection. She did not apologize or ask if I was okay. The nail application and paint is absolutely horrible too. I showed her a picture before services of what I wanted, I confirmed a second time before she started my nails if she needed to view the photo of what I wanted and she stated "no." What I received was sloppy paint and not what I asked for at all. Some paint is still on my skin, uneven line work, not a single nail on my fingers is shaped evenly. The acrylic is laid extremely poorly & sloppy. I have ever had such horrible nails in my life. I went back to the salon on 2/4 to express my concerns and dissatisfaction, I was rushed out of the salon in my opinion, so other customers would not overhear the conversation. I was told to go back so they could fix it- but was declined a refund. I don't feel comfortable to return back as I fear infection, unsanitary practices and question if the nail technicians there are even licensed or not. I will be attaching photos of my nails, what I asked for & the cuts. I ask to be refunded what I paid for the full set of nails, the $15 tip I paid & be reimbursed for the cost to have these removed in a sanitary salon. I will also be contacting the health department, along with going to a Physician to discuss possible infection-as one of my fingers is swollen, red and inflamed. The receipt given does not explain any charges for services, I would like clarification of the price I paid for each service.
