If I could do minus five stars I would. The owner is a good story teller. He was hired to operate his rock hound attachment for his skid steer throughout my backyard. He insured me it would pick up all rocks from 3/4” to a small grapefruit in size. Well he came promptly that day, ran the machine over the yard for what he said was three hours and 20 loads of rock to dump near where he told me he would dump them. I asked them to be dumped in the woods, he chose near the woods instead. When i got home from work that day, the yard looked amazing. He was paid the following day in cash in full. When he came to get paid i had him look at some more work, he said he would email me a quote. This was multiple weeks ago from time of this post and still no quote. Apparently my work isn’t good enough to be done by him. Soon after he finished the job, it we got a decent amount of rain. All the dirt M. Deluca used to hide all the rocks he didn’t pickup washed away and i found that a fast one was pulled on me. As the business owner, he talked a really good story of how great the machine is and how awesome the yard would look. What he failed to tell was it would only look good until it rains and uncovers the rocks he didn’t pickup that he was paid to do. Now any time I’m home and it not raining, I’m outside with a metal rake and shovel picking up the rocks i paid M. Deluca Services to do and they chose to hide them instead. I guess the moral of the story is M. Deluca Services saw me as an easy target to get one over on and that what he chose to do. As a business owner, he chose to be dishonest with me as a customer and lie to my face. M. Deluca services will never get a recommendation from me and I’ve started telling people not to call this company unless you want to be lied to, taken advantage of and have constant reminders of being taken advantage of.
