  In January 2025, BBB contacted Cure Med Spa regarding claims in its advertising.
  
  Its website and social media pages include many health benefit claims related to the ingredients and treatments offered at the facility.  Below is a sample of some of the health benefit claims in its advertising: 
  "Benefits of Botox: Prevents new wrinkles from forming."
  "Benefits of Vampire Facials: Stimulates natural collagen production and cellular regeneration; Reverses the effects of age and sun damage on the skin."
  "B-12 injections help with: Concentration problems; Memory loss; Fatigue; Pale skin; Weight gain; Dementia; Low appetite; Mood swings; Constipation; Sore tongue; Numbness; Tingling sensations; Low energy levels."
  "Benefits of Halotherapy: Completely safe solution to respiratory problems; Improve lung function; Remove toxins, viruses, bacteria, and pollen from the lungs; Reduce overall inflammation; Alleviate various bacterial skin conditions."
  “Cure Meyers Cocktail- Comprised of essential multivitamins and other nutrients, this cocktail is designed to help alleviate chronic symptoms, including ongoing pain, asthma and more. Possible Benefits: Helps alleviate stress; Improves immunity; Restores balance; Provides hydration; Helps reduce migraines; Reduces chronic pain."
  "Magnesium chloride can help reduce fatigue, improve immunity, decrease the risk of developing migraines, improve relaxation, and more."
  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.  For medicinal and therapeutic claims or claims to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any illness or disease, scientific clinical evidence from human clinical trials is preferred to support these claims.  Substantiation should involve human testing that is blinded, performed by an independent third party, placebo controlled, conducted on a sufficient scope of subjects, and ideally has been peer reviewed. Claims concerning overall uniquely formulated products also require testing on the combination of ingredients in the product.  Specific ingredient claims also require substantiation.  The business did not respond to BBB's request that it substantiate, modify, or discontinue its claims. 
  
  Its site indicates that some treatments and procedures are considered "Off-Label" or not cleared by the FDA. For example, it appears that the business uses Daxxify “Off-Label” for "Crow’s feet around the eyes; Forehead lines and creases; Other dynamic wrinkles caused by facial muscle contractions."  The business did not provide substantiation for health benefit claims in treatments and procedures considered 'Off-Label" or not cleared by the FDA and did not respond when BBB asked if clients adequately informed that certain "Off-Label" treatments or procedures are not FDA approved. 
  
  Its website states "Bioidentical Hormone Therapy at Cure: Restore your body’s optimal hormone levels; Combat the signs and symptoms of hormone changes and aging; Improves overall health and wellness; Restore youthful vitality and energy levels;  Personalized according to your unique hormonal needs."  The business did not respond when BBB asked if Cure Med Spa is using FDA approved bioidentical hormones or compounded hormones.
