On 2/27/24 I wanted to get a car wash. The attendant asked if I wanted to sign up for the rewards program, I said no. She said there is no fee and it just provides offers for future car washes, no cost, so relented and just signed up. I am now being charged ~$26/month for a car wash membership I did not agree too. There is no way to talk to a person when I call the company.Business response

Our interactions are recorded using our ****** system. There is no way ****** ***** was told that there were no fees or costs because you have to pay initially to receive a wash. I have attached a record of ****** ***** cancelling her membership. As you can see, it was done via her mobile phone. The only way to do this is with the QR code you are given during your sign up for our membership program. This further shows that ****** ***** was aware of the membership she was signing up for.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I submitted a cancellation request via their website and provided my license plate #, I DID NOT have a barcode to enter, their system allowed me to still submit this request. The cancelation was processed using my license plate. I paid for a car wash that day, and was told signing up was akin to a **** * **** rewards card, no cost and definitely not a monthly cost. I of course paid that day for a single car wash, I was never informed of the monthly fee, and I am requesting the monthly charge be refunded as I did not agree to this, and never would have because, as clearly indicated by my ** license plate, I do not live in a state with this car wash service, so paying for a monthly service for an out of state car wash would be absurd.

On 02-24-2024 I paid $17.00 to go thru Russell Speeders car wash on **** *** ***** **** ********* *** My car is a 2021 ******* ******* color gray, ** * ********. After going thru I pulled to a parking spot on property to look over my car when I noticed my rear license plate was hanging one side was pulled out of plastic bumper. I immediately approached manager marquis M***** who made me fill out a damage report, which I did. He stated he needed to review video and send my report to company. Well after returning there 3 times in a week in a half he said company won’t fix the damage because of after market rear plate? I said both ** *** plate and my cert plate never came with vehicle? He also refused to give me any other company contact information? Police report made.Business response

We have provided pictures of the signage on site and the email correspondence with Mr. **********. Our signage states that we are not responsible for damage involving aftermarket items, which Mr. ********** does have. He has a secondary license plate hanging below his state issued license plate that reaches beneath the rear bumper of the vehicle. It is against our policy to give out personal information, which is what Mr. ********** was requesting. Mr. ********** was provided with the name, email address, and phone number of the General Manager. As well as the corporate phone number.
