I stored my black glama mink coat almost 6 years ago and paid them a monthly fee for storage and have been trying to reach out by phone and email for the last 2 years and cannot get in touch with them nor received a response back. They are showing on ****** as “temporarily closed”. How have they not returned items to their customers or reached out prior to closing?? This coat is easily worth over $16K and I demand to have my coat shipped to me ASAP or a full refund of the worth of my coat. Please help or I will get my lawyer involved.Business response

In response to Ms ******* concern, we have not received communication with her since 2019. After a 3 year period we considered the coat abandoned. The storage is charged yearly not monthly and to date we have not received any payment for the last 6 years, please advise us how she wants to proceed. Before any shipment can be sent the past due balance plus a shipping charge will have to be paid in full.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:?I am baffled by the claim “we have not received communication with her since 2019”. I have attempted to call on numerous occasions for years and nobody ever answered the phone and is evidenced by multiple customer claims against this establishment. I also live out of state so driving by the location was never an option. I know they have my contact info on file too and never made any attempt to reach out.

Ms ****** stored her garment with us and received a storage agreement at that time, in the agreement it spells out the changes, which are not monthly but yearly, which means storage is to be paid every year the garment is in storage. She claims to have emailed us in 2023 but we have no records of that. Are question is why there was no communication from 2019 to 2023 and now she is claiming that we have done something wrong. To date we have not received any payment for 6 years that her garment has been stored. I will provide a telephone number that the BBB can contact me, the number is *** *** *****

I had one full length mink coat,one brown mink jacket,one black sherling coat,one brown sherling coat and 3 mink headbands picked up by Josephsfur of distinction to store for the summer months.They we’re picked up July 13 th 2021 ,by Thomas Brandt. He was suppose to call me for price on cleaning brown sherling.He didn’t call.I called several time and left messages which were not returned.in January I tried again.this time no answer or recording on his phone.In March I tried to contact him on his web site.no return reply.I sent a certified letter in April 2022 ,which the post office couldn’t get delivered . I called my lawyer who suggested calling BBBInitial Complaint

Joseph’s Furs cleans and stores my fur coats during the Spring and Summer months. I have called them multiple times to try to take my coats out of storage. Joseph’s Furs has not returned my calls and the store is closed to customers. I have left numerous messages. I have emailed the business as well but heard nothing. The business answering machine states they will deliver coats as the store is closed for customers, yet they have not responded to my requests for a delivery. Please advise as to what further steps I can take to get my property back. Thank you, ******* *****Customer response
