I bought a bike from new haven power sports financed at 3000+ , I’ve had the bike for a month the warranty for parts was for a month. I needed transportation for the bike as they provide service to transport. I’ve told them before my warranty expired I need service they said ok bring it in they have no way 2 days later I’ve brung it they figured out it was my engine wanted me to pay 600+ plus labor work for a engine instead of using my warranty said they can’t do anything about it and now I’m paying off a bike I can’t use and they won’t help and care to help. Once they’ve made the help they didn’t care to help. They gave me * ***** ** **** bike and blamed me to say I messed up the motor by trying to do a burn out. I’ve had 6/7 hrs in bikeBusiness response

Complaint Information:
The complainant is ****** *******, the rider of the motorcycle. Mr ******* assumed his motor issues were to be fixed at no charge because he had a warranty. The bike was out of warranty when he brought it in but that fact is moot because the problem to the bike was NOT CAUSED by manufacturer defect, but rather from user abuse. A manufacturer warranty is protection from manufacturer defects or electrical defects that could cause a problem. The off-road motorcycle was brought in with a bald rear tire, indicating it was mostly ridden ON road. When an OFF road vehicle is ridden ON road, the RPM's are at a higher limit for a longer time than if the vehicle was used properly off road with lower RPMs for shorter bursts of time. Mr ******* also stated he missed a gear while down shifting and most likely also did not observe proper break-in procedures which were described when the bike was purchased and also outlined in the owners manual that came with the bike. we will not fix this vehicle for no charge for the reasons indicated above.
