On July 14th 2022, I took my J*** ******** 2019 for a routine 60K maintenance appointment at Wetmore's Jeep Dealer in *** ******* **. As I was ready to leave the shop my car wouldn't start. I found out that they had damaged my car battery. The shop replaced it the following week at no cost after I called 3 times. At pick up, I notice a metallic screeching sound coming from the driver’s wheel, but the shop reassured me that my car was fine. A few days later I got a check engine light and my car was shaking which indicated that there was Evalve leak and the tires needed a balancing. The shop repaired it again without charging me but the metallic screeching noise was still present. Again the shop reassured me that my car was fine. According to them an alignment and balancing was done on July 14th at the initial visit. After I once more picked up my car the metallic sound was still there and I called them immediately but they informed me that they take no responsibility and that I now have to pay for damages. After a second opinion, the new mechanic informed me that I needed a new knuckle ball joint replaced and that the wear was there for months. Wetmore's never informed me of this which should have been caught on the initial appointment once they performed a mandatory safety check on the car, which I now doubt they ever did. 3 weeks later I also started getting "Oil change required" notice on the car. On July 14th, Wetmore's once again reassured me that an oil change was done. I did try to reach out to Wetmore's but at this time they have been unresponsive. I strongly believe that they should have repaired the damages at no cost to me since my car was in an excellent condition prior to visiting them on 7/14/22.

After your service your battery went dead, that failure had nothing to do with any of the work we performed.  In good faith, we replaced your battery free of charge anyway.  You next complained of shaking, we then balanced your tires free of charge.  Again, this has nothing to do with your 60k service.  You then asked us to pay for a ball joint repair that was not present on our inspection.  You have received the 60K service, a free battery, and a free wheel balance.  We declined to work on your vehicle further as we feel you are seeking free repairs unfairly.  Tell us why here...
