            I purchased a WÜSTHOF purple yam knife set sold by ****** on behalf of WÜSTHOF. I received the order on 1/14 but it only contained a chefs knife in the box. No block no other knives. I contacted ****** who instructed me to contact the manufacturer (WÜSTHOF). ******’s policy is to contact the manufacturer for missing items/parts. I contacted WÜSTHOF on Tuesday 1/16. They were closed for the holiday weekend. I’ve been emailing back and forth with Donna. Donna has been in contact with their ****** sales representative. I’ve been instructed to not inform ****** of the missing items and return it. The problem then comes in that ****** will not issue any refund if items are missing from the return. Ultimately WÜSTHOF would have been responsible for placing any and all items in the box and the inserts inside of the items original packaging before it ever made it to ****** to be sold and distributed. By ******’s return policy I am not eligible for a return/replacement. It is the responsibility of the manufacturer to send the missing items. I’m going to be out $948.70. That is a lot of money to lose because someone didn’t place items in a box.
