When I arrived at **** *** in ****** *******a the agent told me that the booking that I made on ******************* was not valid for a Canadian Driver's license. He told me that he had to create a new booking and that the booking that I made on ******************* would be refunded. No other car rental company was still open at this time, so my Wife, Newborn baby and I had no choice but to pay for a new reservation. I filed complaints with **** *** and ******************* but neither company responded.

This company is a scam and should be investigated. Do not ever use them or booking.com They take the money and don't provide cars. I have had 2 bad experiences with them and never again. Advertise free cancellation but this is a lie as they don't refund.

Please refrain from engaging with this company. I made a reservation through Rentalcars.com and paid the full amount, expecting a great deal. However, upon arrival, they informed me that they did not have a car available for me. Despite this, they have refused to issue a refund. This constitutes a fraudulent practice, and I strongly advise against using their services. Instead, I recommend reputable car rental companies such as ******

They charge soooooo many fees. This company should be investigated. They they charged a fee when the rental was cancel still billed my credit card fees although the rental was completely cancelled by budget. Unable to reach anyone, this company is not being truthful.

I was charged more at the Dollar Car Rental than I contracted for through rentalcars.com, and I did not receive the car that I paid for. Upon contacting rentalcars.com, all correspondence is through email, and when I lodged a complaint online, the questionnaire was in Polish. All I wanted was the "overcharge" to be refunded, since I did not receive the car or one similar in the contract, and it was an overcharge- even if it was the car that was in the contract. Ultimately, they refused, saying they could not give me a full refund, which was NOT what I asked for (just wanted the difference between the contract price and the overcharge). WILL NEVER use them or any of their other sites (booking.com, etc.) again. Customer service was the worst I've ever encountered. Will only call individual companies from now on. Stay away from these companies. If there is a problem, it will not be resolved. The customer will eat it.

After my rental car booking was not completed due to incompetent staff and cancelled, the company is ignoring our complaints .Completely ruined our holiday plans straight in the beginning (at the airport) Not answering our request for refund either How The booking.com can have a partnership with such company? It is a good advice to stick with reliable rental brands and deal directly with them to avoid such 3rd party thieves ! I agree with the others disappointed customer - shut down this company and the owners should be locked up for frauds

Scam . Booked for a trip to Santorini . First nobody was there with the car to greet. Second trying to cancel because of no car and no show is impossible same with a refund , all automated never anyone to talk to and they beat around the bush.

This company is a complete fraud. I reserved a car through booking.com, they immediately charged me for car insurance even though I didn't ask for one. I was charged right away for the car and the insurance. I cancelled within less than 30 min. They refunded the insurance money but then it gets interesting from here. They created two fake ghost reservations (identical to the original one), then they cancelled them so when I checked my mail box I could see the title of the email - your reservation has been cancelled. Unfortunately, I never opened the emails until much later so at the end, I received the final email - your reservation has been cancelled due to no show and of course I never got my money back for the original reservation. They literally sent 7 emails within 1 h with all these new car bookings and cancellations. It was so confusing. Of course AMEX didn't resolve the scam in my favor - there was no way to prove that I cancelled the original booking. Rental cars.com doesn't have a phone number, **** provided some number for me to call and when I did, I couldn't even reach a person to talk to. Don't ever use this ridiculous business!

I booked and paid for a rental car through the Rentalcars.com website. I rented a car for 8 days out of the ******* Airport. The cost for 8 days was just under 300.00 dollars, plus I added on insurance for another 100.00. When we arrived at ******* airport we instructed to contact Routes car rental, as it was off site. It took several calls to get ahold of anyone at routes and advise them that we were waiting at the designated spot. When we finally got picked up, there was about 10 people waiting. Once we arrived at the off site rental parking it was clear that this was a totally shady company. It was in a run down part of town, off a side road with people waiting to get cars. It took another hour before we got a rental car. They didn't have any cars, just pick-up trucks and SUV's. You guested it, you were forced to take what they gave you or lose your deposit. They charged us extra for my husband to drive, an additional 140.00, then there were surcharges on surcharges...it was rediculous. The representative at the pickup counter said $500 was for a deposit that would be refunded if the car was returned without any damage. When I returned the car, the company had moved locations and there was a sign handing on the fence giving a new address. We were shocked, we had no idea where this new location was. We ended up following another couple who were also in the same situation. After returning the car, they emailed me a bill for an addional 368.00. So now my cheap car rental was more than if I had rented at the airport with a legit car rental. I ended up paying more than double of the agreed upon rental car cost. DO NOT RENT from RENTALCARS.COM OR ROUTES, both are scamers.

This company should be shut down. They are a scam and a rip off. They say one thing and do another. Everything on their website is lie. Stay away do not give them any of your business. They will just take your money and you will not even get a car
