      I have been with HomeServe for several years, recently moved to a new home and transferred the service with me. I love their quick response times, professional call center and ease of scheduling an appointment around my schedule. Contractors they send out are also professional and have been on time. I highly recommend this company for your piece of mind should anything go wrong in your home.

      I paid $800 to HomeServe in the past year for coverage of "Exterior Water Service Line plus restoration," "Interior Plumbing & Drainage System," and "Exterior Sewer Line/Septic Line plus restoration." I've paid HomeServe more than $7000 for these warranties for the past 11 years. I submitted one claim in the past for an exterior water line; they fixed the damage so poorly, it had to be redone at my cost. I submitted a claim in July 2024 for a different exterior water line near the house (not a sprinkler line) that developed a sudden major leak underground. HomeServe sent someone to assess the issue and then said someone would come to the house to repair it the next day. No one showed up. They are now refusing to pay for the repair, which is estimated to be $800. They claim that the exterior coverage is for the main line only, not branch lines. There is no mention of main or branch lines in the service agreement. The agreement document for the current period has page 1 with page 3 on the backside of it. There is no page 2. They claim a list of exclusions is included on page 2. When the agent first represented the warranty 11 years ago, it was described as covering all exterior water lines.

      Home Serve was so easy to work with! They had a crew contact us right away to take care of our water leak. The Entire Stott Plumbing Crew Was Great! The Communication From Cody And The Repair Crew Of Alfredo, Conner And Jorge Was Awesome! They Repaired Our Water Main Break While Being Considerate And Aware Of Our Grounds And Landscaping. From Start To Finish They Were Professional And We Wouldn’t Hesitate To Use Them Again.

      Home Serve is a necessary evil. We have had sewer issues and continuous back ups. They sent ******** plumbing out on numerous occasions and they did absolutely nothing. The last backup flooded the bathroom tub and toilet and had roaches coming up the toilet. I submitted it as an emergency and it took until the next day for someone to come out. We had to pay for the tenant to leave as it was not habitable. I did not know I could request a different contractor. So FINALLY, ** ******** came out and addressed the issue…sort of. What he really recommended was denied, but at least the lines were snaked. Also, because ******** plumbing submitted my previous problems incorrectly I have no more service calls available. Almost each rep when you call has zero knowledge about how to do anything…literally. They can literally not have any more than a second grade conversation and no comprehension above that either. The hoops the contractors have to jump through is mind blowing. ** ******** spent almost 3 hours at the property…and about half of it was on the phone requesting, asking and explaining why the toilet and tub were backed up…completely a waste of time and resources. If I could I would do something else…but it’s our only choice. I literally DREAD having to call for a problem…it zaps an entire work day just to spend the amount of time the phone calls take. If you can, do anything else but this company.
