Ordered a boat, paid a deposit. Boat has showed up, they won’t sell it to me. I have not received my refund for the deposit. It was not, non refundable.

Mr. ***** did, infact, purchase a boat from us.  It did come in, and we opted not to sell it to him.

However, Mr. ***** seems to have conveniently forgotten the events that lead up to this decision.

The boat arrived faster than we anticipated from the factory, and we excitedly contacted Mr. ***** to relay the good news.  He very rudely demanded that he take delivery of the boat within the next two days.  In the boating industry, such a short timeline is unheard of.  This process is not like buying a car.  When the boat comes in, we need to thoroughly go through the boat to check all systems, install any options and electronics, prep the engine, clean and detail the boat, and make sure all safety measures are in place.  With the recent surge in boat sales, along with the prepping process, we were not able to accommodate his demand.  Furthermore, it would not have been fair to let him "cut the line" in our queue, putting him ahead of people who have been waiting longer and pushing them back even further.

When the sales manager told him it would be two weeks until he could take delivery, Mr. ****** went absolutely insane.  Never in my life have I heard one human speak to another in such a derogatory manner.  He became increasingly aggressive when we attempted to reason with him.  He went so far as to call my sales manager a  "***** *** *** **** salesman" along with several creative explicatives.  He had another coworker in tears.  All over a BOAT... that came in earlier that anyone anticipated.

We chose not to sell Mr. ***** the boat because he is simply not a nice person and we did not want to deal with his rudeness moving forward.  My employees do not deserve to take that kind of abuse - no one does.  We would have never made him happy.  I am not sure anything in life has the capacity to make this man happy.

We did return his deposit. The argument occurred on a Saturday. He filed his claim with the BBB that same day.  It takes a few business days for the credit to appear in his account.  Deposits are non-refundable.  In most cases if someone does decide not to purchase a boat after having left a deposit, we return it to them despite this rule.  Although I will say that we probably shouldn't have.  We knew that Mr. ***** was going to drag us through the mud all over the internet.  Simply put, he is not a nice person and we have the freedom to decide who we want to do business with. He is currently banned from our premises and the police will be called if he returns.

      Thank you for your time!

      Have a wonderful day!

Warranty repairs were made poorly and ignored, but listed as complete on invoice. 2021 ******** *** new. today I took myself and two eight year old children onto **** ****** *****. Turned off boat. ignition switch(which was a warranty repair) fell into console. Normally when this has happened in past I simply remove a removable cup holder and reposition switch. today when I tried I realized they had glued all the removable cup holders in place. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO DO THIS, NEGLIGENCE! We had to be towed in. other repara were either incomplete or not done at all. Richie threw me off property when I questioned ethics. Their irresponsible acts put myself and two eight year olds in har** way.

      *******

We will make an exception for your return only to repair the key switch.  We will not make arrangements with any dealer but ourselves to make the repair to the key switch.
