I had my vehicle undercoated with an oil to prevent rust from forming. I had it done on December 12th, 2022 and picked it up later that day. The total cost was $780 and I payed cash in full. When I left I drove the vehicle home and parked it in the garage and didn't drive it until the following Monday the 19th, I had noticed that on the driver rear hub was missing a stud and lug nut. I immediately called the company and explained everything and the gentleman said "oh, I'm sorry I forgot to tell you that happened" he didn't even bother to ask to pay to fix it.Business response

Unfortunately this did happen, It was a 2002 ****** ******** that we not only removed a bunch of rust, went well above the time frame that she had a budget for to provide a better overall outcome. Upon removing the wheels to do a proper job a wheel stud snapped due to a cross threaded lug nut that was installed prior to us working on the vehicle. After inspection looks as the lug nut was not close to being seated for some time. At time of pickup we went over what to expect from the undercoating and the do's and don'ts. This was during peak season and we were loaded with customers and work and the lugnut had slipped our thoughts. We have reached out to the customer and she states she is 100% happy with the results of the work and will use us in the future but was concerned that we didn't mention the lugnut. We agree that the lugnut should have been mentioned, as far as a refund she is looking to get refunded for the wheel stud and lugnut, While it did fail here it was not a cause of our doing but have agreed to refund her for that stud and lugnut as she mentioned she is currently unemployed.Customer response
