  On May 24, 2023 I signed 3 contracts with Lavallee, 1 for a front door, 1 for a back door and 1 for staining of my deck and shed. I paid $4791.16 initially and was told it would take around 3 weeks or so to get the doors in then they would be installed. I had to beg him to get my deck stained which was finally done on 7/6. I had wanted a stain and he was adamant that we used a solid. I expressed my concern that it was similar to another paint I used that I had issues with. He claimed it was different and very good. The work was very unsatisfactory. He got paint on my siding, slider door, brand new slider screen, the cement slab by the deck, the grass, rocks, he painted all of the hinges and hooks, the screens on the deck, our mini split has paint on the outside and the inside. I have an appointment for a professional to look at it and assess the damage. We let is sit for 14 days then after 2 days of walking on it, its peeling in several areas. He also had said I needed new paint for my shed since the paint was probably *****". He said he would redo the deck but he is very hard to get ahold of and very unavailable. I did not want him to redo it because the work was so poor and my new grill and furniture had to be built on the deck and cannot be easily moved nor do I have a place to put them. Our doors still have not been done and once again he pushed us back due to other jobs and his septic broke and he told me it would take a full month for him to fix. I expressed to him that I needed it done urgently since I had water coming into my basement and my floor is being damaged when we signed the contracts. I told him I wanted a refund since the job was done poorly and after 3 months of waiting he has been unavailable to provide services. I was told he would not refund me since he ordered the doors and we already have the paint. I told them I did not want the doors because I cannot trust that they were done correctly or will fit since I do not trust his work.

  This contractor has not completed the work that I paid him to do. This project wan Jan 2023 - Mar 2023. The work was billed in with another project which he did complete, but at the time because the unfinished work was outside painting, the temperature was too cold. He finished most of the job in March, but assured me that he would come back to complete the job once the weather got warmer. There are some other miscellaneous things he needs to finish also. I am also not satisfied with the shower water spout and shower head water line installation. I have been calling and texting him to set up a time to get this completed, but he has not responded to any of my attempts to reach him.
