Called guardian for carpenter ant treatment back in July 2023. They offered a treatment which included interior and exterior treatments as well as bait. All for over $340 or so which we agreed to. Once the tech came out he looked around and said he will only spray in rooms and saw the ants which was one bedroom and bathroom upstairs. He did not treat the outside or leave any bait. I was upset and called the company to complain and thank them for their business. Fast forward two months same tech comes out again and I greeted him in my driveway. Told him I was all set and his services were no longer needed as we were not satisfied with the work or lack there of. To my surprise I got a bill in the mail in the amount of $430 for the initial treatment and the follow up. I called there times to get this squared away but would not receive a call back I called again today and spoke with Sam who offered to take the follow up treatment off the bill. According to Sam the tech claimed he treated the exterior of the house which I said never happened. The guy lied on the paperwork and submitted a work order he never performed. Sam claimed she spoke to the owner and he refused to take off or reduce the initial charge because the work was done. I should not be paying if it wasn’t done to standard. I am willing to pay for the tech spraying two rooms inside of my home but not $340 that was agreed upon for full service which included outside inside treatment and baitBusiness response

We guarantee all of our work and if Mr. ********* had a problem with the first service, all he needed to do is call and we would send someone out again at no charge. All of our calls are recorded and it shows we never received a call from Mr *********.
I would be happy to send someone out to re service his home at no charge if he still has a problem.

I am rejecting this response. I am willing to pay for the tech spraying two rooms in the home. I did not receive the service what we agreed upon when I initially called to schedule it. Not sure what the rate is to have two rooms treated. It’s definitely not $340. The follow up treatment was somewhere around $80. That sounds like a reasonable amount to pay for the work that was done

Acct # ***** Customer Since 6/9/2021 My scheduled pest service was for 9/1/2023. While I was outside, I noticed that the technician Carl Z******* stopped in front of my house in the road, when I made eye contact with him, he floored it up the road, and never came back to provide service. **I have everything on my **** security camera video**. Shortly after I received this email that my service was completed, and I was being charged $91.46. But in fact was NOT completed. He never even stopped at my house, I was home the entire day and I was outside when this occurrence happened. I tried calling the office three times at 4:44, 4:45 and 4:46 with no answer. It was a holiday weekend so they must have left early. I finally got ahold of someone after the long weekend to let them know what happened, the receptionist apologized and said she would speak with the owner and get back with me, and that I would not be charged for this month's service and she would reschedule it with a different technician. I also submitted an email to them via their website *************************************************************** and never received an email back. A technician came yesterday 9/12 and I was charged for the service. Upon speaking with them today 9/13 the receptionist stated they never said such thing and I wasn't charged for the service on 9/1, but I would still have to pay for 9/12. I still have not heard back from the owner or receive an email back as I am writing this on 9/13. I’m completely disappointed and disgusted with this company. They’re very unprofessional and can’t even call a paying customer back. Seriously talk about bad business and scamming people. It really makes me wonder out of all the times they said they completed service, did they actually? I want a call from the owner, explanation of what happened and a refund of the startup fee $319.05. I would like to take my business elsewhere.Customer response

10/6/2023 - I went to log onto my portal and my account was frozen. I called customer service and she explained to me that my charge ($91.46) has been paid off/removed from my account. And that the account was closed.
I was going to close the account regardless, but all of this was done without my knowledge. Not even an email. Still no call from the owner as of 10/6/2023.
At this point I don’t need a response. But I need Guardian Pest Control to know they are unprofessional and this is not how you treat your paying customers!
