Absolutely BEWARE. Their lazy misdiagnose almost killed my dog. In my review on ******, the business wrote back with blatant lies about me refusing tests they never offered or said were needed to defend themselves, which is my main issue. In my review I stated I wished they’d done more, why would I have refused anything? Money isn’t an issue, we have pet insurance that reimburses us. We happily spent $4200 ($6500 total after his 4 day stay that was extended thanks to the meds this clinic tossed at us blindly) the very next day at a clinic that actually knows what they’re doing and isn’t just out for a cash grab. They don’t even let you back with your dog, nor did anyone take a comprehensive history from me about his symptoms, which was my first red flag. This is dangerous, whoever is running this place needs to not own a business, especially one where they’re caring for living things. The owner is nasty and ready to make up stories at the drop of a hat to keep up their dwindling reputation in the area. I’ve spoken to multiple other pet owners who have gone here now and would never return. Wish I’d talked to them sooner and saved myself the trouble. So do yourself and your pet a favor and never go here. I was going to let it go with the review but after they’re blatantly lying in their petty response, this place has a serious issue.

Well respectfully disagree with the complaints. its FREE to complain on ******, its FREE to write a letter, if we did any error we would have considered refunding you. Online bullying and in person verbal harassment we deal with every day, if any further harassment will lead to legal action. We explained in detail already. there is not much to explain, we can only make some one understand our point of view if they are open to here and understand the process, if some one decided to bully and get a refund, we will not cave in.

      Respectfully

On Tuesday, July 18th, I took my ********** ********* ******, to the Veterinary Urgent and Wellcare Center of Plainville ** due to sudden symptoms of vomiting yellow bile. The clinic offered a few options; however, as the doctor suspected a possible obstruction, I chose an x-ray to address his symptoms. The primary doctor on this case was Dr. Satyender V*****. The x-ray didn't reveal any foreign object, and ****** was given 1.30 mL of ******* 10mg/ml to alleviate the vomiting. The clinic closed shortly after treatment, and it didn't reopen until 12:00 PM the next day. During the night, ****** showed signs of diarrhea, which worsened and turned bloody by 6:30 AM. I rushed him to another emergency vet clinic around 7:00 AM. There, they conducted a blood test, admitted him to the ICU overnight. The doctor at the second clinic in **** ******** noted severe under-dosing and misdiagnosis from the initial clinic in Plainville. The documents from the first clinic showed ******'s weight as 27 pounds, while his actual weight was 42.5 pounds. The first clinic prescribed dosage for medications like ******** and ******* was inadequate for his weight class. For example, the Veterinary Urgent and Wellcare Center of Plainville ** prescribed 125mg of ******** as compared to the necessary 250mg needed to produce improvement in health. Moreover, prior to his release, they also administered approximately half of the adequate dosage of the ******* (mentioned in the first paragraph). The negligence and subpar care at the initial clinic could have resulted in ******'s death had I not sought proper care elsewhere. Upon requesting reimbursement, they asked me to come in to verify their weight scales since they claimed to be a "new business" wanting to prevent such incidents in the future. However, they confirmed the error and only reimbursed the cost of the prescription, which was $109 out of the total $1,004 I paid. I expect a fair and full reimbursement for the substandard care.

On Saturday 4/29/23, I went to the Veterinary Urgent and Well Care Center because my dogs leg was in poor condition. My dog, *****, had an abscess due to a bite of some source(unknown). We(my daughter & I) took him to his regular vet on Monday & Wednesday for treatment where they put him on an antibiotic & inflammatory/pain medication also drained the pus. On Saturday we noticed that his skin was flapping off and got nervous, my regular vet was not open so we went there. We arrived around 1 & was told to call and wait in the parking lot for someone to assist. We filled out the paperwork necessary to be seen and waited for them to take him in. We were told that since the facility use to be a daycare, we were not allowed to go in because it was not ready for parents of pets to enter the building. About 2 they came to get him to be assessed. We were told that we were able to look through the window to see his care. Around 2:30 the vet tech came out with an estimate of $735, which I questioned and was told that I could talk to the doctor about it when he came out to let us know the outcome. They would not proceed unless I signed the estimate. Fifteen minutes later the doctor came out and told us that it was pretty bad. He needed to cut off the dead skin then clean it out then wrap it. He said that ***** needed to get surgery right away to go in to scrub the wound of bacteria and to bring him back on Monday. After the surgery, I would need to bring him in every 2 day to change the bandage then another surgery to graph skin to cover the wound. Estimated cost would be around $8,000.00 to $10,000. I told that doctor just to wrap it and would decide about the surgery after the blood test results came back on Monday, since he is 13 years old. He went in, took care of my dog and brought him out with the blood test results that magically appeared. I paid and left. I took ***** to his vet on Sunday where he stated no surgery was needed & skin will grow back.

Pet has bad wound, needs anesthesia to clean the wound properly. Skin over the wound is dead, needs a skin graft likely in a few weeks. recommended to see a surgeon for advanced wound care- Owner declined, but agreed and signed the given estimate for blood work and visit, bandage etc for that day.  We performed blood work to prepare for anesthesia, she was supposed to return last Monday for wound cleaning under anesthesia, however Owner changes her mind after few days, and wants no blood work. well, if we have time machine, we can go back and cancel blood work. But it was already done two days ago with her consent. So No Money back. Also please help your pet, they need advanced wound cleaning, repair, not just a bandage change.

Owner was extremely rude with office staff and Doctor, when she returned, and claims 'her vet told told her anesthesia, surgery not needed, and blood work was not needed'. We have medical records from your doctor, he did not mention anywhere about anesthesia surgery not required, you are adding 'my vet said so' to legitimize your unreasonable rant. No licensed reasonable veterinarian would say that to make it clear to you. If you cant afford th procedure, we understand, keep the bandage changes hope for the best, but please don't tell us you don't need proper wound care. Bandage change and antibiotic is bare minimal help, which you are working with your veterinarian, we get it, you cant do more, it does not mean you have a license to be rude to us, remember? when nobody was taking your pet, we saw your pet, cleaned the wound, applied bandage explained plan A , B , C, D to you several times. You settled with plan D, which may or may not work. Good luck

      Thanks

I am rejecting this response because they scam people into doing procedures that are costly and unnecessary!
