I signed a contract with Brandon in June 2022, was told he was 2 months out to dig a foundation for addition. That would have been the 1st week of August, we agreed as the completion time frame given was 3 months. Assured it'd be done before holidays hit. That did not happen, week after week of reaching out to him he'd come back and say "end of week ". This went on and on throughout the whole project. By Oct I was very upset without any answers and wanted to back out. He told me I'd loose my $30k as he had already ordered our kitchen cabinets, anyone that's ever been in a situation like that could imagine the frustration and devastation not having control. He continued to give false time frames and I had to beg him to get to my house to start other work while waiting for the dig. Literally like pulling teeth, I should have backed out. Finally started digging and had a start end of Nov. Then everything else followed the exact same way as the beginning on the project. My girlfriend works from home so she had to deal with alot of it and there was not 1 time a licensed plumber came, he did it all but the electrician and a dry wall guy came and 2 people he subcontracted had nothing good to say about his time frames of blowing It off and pretty much "deal with it" attitude. He was paid ALOT of $ , I paid him early before the contract stated every time he asked hoping that our house would get finished and we could have our space and lives back. The job was "finished"10/13/23. I say that because there's alot of poor workmanship and unfinished big things left behind. He and his crew carelessly "pushed through " to get final payment. When I have water coming into 2 windows where it was not properly installed, I have exterior doors left not squared so my house is exposed the the elements along with a poor insulted crawl space and attic gaps where light shines through. Paid $110k and got bamboozled by him.
