    I'm sorry to report that Vachon GMC service department in ******, *********** is awful. I am financing a 2020 GMC ******* that I got on November 11, 2020, and I have had nothing but problem after problem with the car and service department since the purchase. The *** is beautiful and only had 4 miles on it when I brought it home. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle approximately May 6, 2022, the radio was all static on every channel, so I brought it to Vachon's service department to be fixed since it was still under warranty. They stated that they fixed the antenna which it was, but shortly after that service, my car began to have water leaking in somehow with an accumulation of about 2 inches of water in the spare tire compartment which then created a mold smell. I brought it to them to have the leak fixed and then several times after that to have the mold smell corrected which they failed to do both, so I had to take matters into my own hands to have the mold taken care of. Today is July 5, 2024, and about 2 days ago I noticed the very strong smell of mold again so I checked the spare tire compartment again and discovered the leak had never been corrected because there was 2 inches of water in there again so I brought it to the service department and told them the situation, showed them pictures and told them I would need a rental and they told me the soonest they could get me in or have a rental would be July 11, 2024 so I asked them so I have to drive this vehicle and smell mold this whole time? Their response was I'm sorry that is the earliest date available. This was just one of the few problems I have experienced with this service department.

    The antenna has nothing to do with the original leak they are two separate repairs and one did not lead to the other. We only have 4 loaner vehicles unfortunately they were all out at the time ********************* came in. The soonest one will be back is the 11th so we marked it down for her as soon as it is returned. The water leak was corrected in Oct 2022 and then she came back in Dec 2022 to get the carpets replaced due to the smell. It has now been a year and a half since then. She does have water leak however until her appointment on the 11th we do not know the cause of it. Unfortunately it could be completely unrelated. If it was the same cause and never corrected she would have had a smell well before 19 months. I will follow up after her vehicle is here on the 11th with more information.
