      This store is a bunch of scam artists we’ve had endless issues with our pool and every product this place has pawned off on us. During installation a year ago the workers had a fist fight in the yard, were rude to my household and left all their garbage in the yard. They did not install a portion of the fence around the pool, and it took another two months for the additional fencing to arrive only for us to have to install it ourselves. The original pool cover they gave us did not fit, then they gave us two new ones that ripped and shredded when we removed them from the pool a year later. The pump they originally gave us was broken, and the one they replaced it with just cracked and is leaking all the water we just put in back out!

      Terrible Customer Service and... Terrible Customer Service and Management, I purchase a pool this spring at Namco and thought I was getting a good deal. To my dismay after the install I found everything about the pool is extremely flimsy and easily damaged. I was even told by the installer that he hasn't seen pools like this for over 15 plus years. I was talked into buying this pool from the store manager and I believe they pushed me into this deal to try and dump outdated inventory. I tried many times contacting customer service and store management to return this pool that already has damage just from leaning on it. I've had a pool for over 20 years and decided it was time to replace because of some ice damage, Namco's poo doesn't come close the the 20 year old pool I'm replacing. quality Namco sold me the cheapest I ever seen. I show all my friends and family and they can see immediately the low quality. Sadly I get the same reply from Namco each time I contact them, "we only sell quality pools and since you had it installed there is nothing we can do for you. I hope people read this and never enter a Namco Pool store, there's a good reason their pools are cheaper and that the cheaper prince matches the quality. I'm out $6,500 (install and water) I will be replacing this pool at the end of this season if it holds up that long.

      Where do I begin! We have lived at our home for 13 years and finally we're able to purchase a pool. After shopping around we Decided to go with Namco. We went to *********** because it was close. We met a salesman Rob who is also a District Manager. We purchased an above ground pool with a heater and the Silver Package from him. We asked when we could expect the pool installation, we were told the end of May, beginning of June and it would take 3 weeks to deliver the pool. Everything was fine. 2 weeks later while at work a truck shows up with the pool to our house with no warning while we are at work. The delivery guy is not nice and angry because he claimed to have called us and texted that he was coming. Long story short, he had the Wrong contact number on his paperwork. Called customer service and Karen offered me $50.00 credit even though they cost me about $300 having to leave work and go get treated poorly by a delivery guy who had the wrong info. Then try to get a hold of Rob and that took a week. Then the installer calls me when I get back to work and with miscommunication i get another installer and a phone call from the manchester office, no help as usual. I called several times but never heard back. Then I tried to switch to Salt water by contacting Rob but as usual busy and cant come to the phone. 2 weeks later I have to go there to talk to him just to hear that Salt equipment wasn't gonna be available for 2 more months. Ok, pool is scheduled for installation on Saturday June 17th. Friday calling everyone because it's supposed to rain and as usual nobody is available. Finally talk to Rob and installer. Installer wants 5 yards of stone dust ( $365.00 cost to me) that he didn't even used and just threw on my property. And water to be delivered at 1130am. Installer flew in and flew out. My pool is Crooked to my house, 1 of the braces has come apart from poor installation, there was dirt and cardboard in my pool, garbage. Honestly disappointed and Not Happy

      This place is a joke I bought a Hayward ec50 de filter didn’t last me one season. When I purchased it they said I had one year warranty now the supervisor at ********* store is giving me the run around Heather. Another employee gave me the supervisor customer service her name is Lyne very unprofessional and rude one way woman like if she owned the company lol. Told me I have to get it contact with Hayward my self. I will never ever step a foot in this nonsense store that tell you you have one year warranty then give you the run around. I will advice everyone if you don’t want to go thru this madness don’t shop at this store not even if it was free!

      Like many Families during the pandemic we purchased a pool so that our kids could enjoy it. Shopped at the Namco branch in ******* and purchased a pool which had been return but was not opened. The pool which was supposed to be delivered to our house was sent to a warehouse which prolonged the deliver finally having to ask them to return it to the store and i would pick up. When i brought everything home and had my installer start the work several key parts were missing. Reached out the store and were able to get the parts which caused further delays and some of the parts were damaged such as the pipe that connect to the main filter that has the grounding attachment(major safety part) part was never replaced. Multiple trips costing gas and time off from work. Bigger issue is their lack of understanding of their credit system. We were told that we had 18 months interest free. 18 months later and never missing a payment we were down to our last $600 payment. We were told at the store that the interest would be charge to any remaining balance($600) not the original purchase price of several thousands. We are now being hit with a $1.4k interest rate on top of the $600 owed instead of about $180 based on the current interest rate of almost 29% Not only has the pool been already patch due to bad liner and replaced parts in poor working condition or at least good for several years but are now being robbed of money much needed for other expenses. The staffed at Namco was dishonest with and not properly trained on how their credit system works. Their lack of knowledge not only mislead us it is costing us much more financially, taking money away from our family which needs to be spent in other bills. Very frustrating to think that we were almost completely done paying this debt and could move on to the next bill to find out that due to staff lack of knowledge/incompetence we would have to delay. Very frustrating and would never be recommending Namco to any one who ask.

      At the end of the summer my pool had to be taken down so we went to look for another pool went to Rocky hill and ordered a pool that was 18 x 33 the size I needed . After not hearing from them I happen to be in Manchester and we stopped in the Manchester store talked to the manager there she set me up and had my pool delivered which included a sales price including if I have it put in at this time I also get a discount if I use your installers so I said OK since the price was right and could afford it I would put it in the fall I waited a week or so it was delivered but turns out it was the wrong pool when the installers came out they said it was the wrong pool so It had to go back. Well they brought the new pool but never picked up the Old pool we had to bring it back ourselves which I don’t think was right then I get a call from a manager and he says the price will have to go up a bit which I wasn’t happy about because that wasn’t my fault but I agreed OK that’s not too bad so finally they show up to install it and they have to dig it up and they have to lay down some thing else which I paid extra for something called dust so I paid another $225 OK so now we’re filling up the pool I happen to look out the window second day and I look and I see water all around the pool Mud a real mess now I’ve been waiting almost a week because they told me it could be a split in a liner on the seam. I say OK bring me a new liner I’m still waiting a week later and the weather is getting colder well they’re digging with the bobcat I see they’re taking dirt out and putting it in the dump truck which is fine but this last load of dirt they never removed they left my house a total wreck I tried calling the store 11/7 Two times with no return call I need the liner and the dirt removed like the other dirt was removed I wasted water and I believe they should pay to have a truck come in and fill my pool They do need to compensate Some how they left my house a mess

      Customer was in contact with customer service today. Installer will be out on Thursday to install liner replacement and customer as provided an in-store credit to off set cost of water loss and as a customer service courtesy.

      I purchased an 18'x33' oval above ground pool from Namco that they installed in mid June. Within minutes of water being added to it, the walls began to lift out of the rails at the bottom. The installer came out and pushed them back down and told me it was a terrible design and that this happens all the time. He told me to just keep pushing sand under it and everything would be ok. A month and a half later I watched the entire front side of my pool collapse in the same spot the walls had lifted. I reached out to Namco who "started a claim". I reached out to the installer who told me to get the water out quickly because he did not believe the walls would hold it. After several emails, I got a customer service lady to tell me they wanted to take the pool down and reconstruct it and were willing to replace anything they couldn't fix. I told her that is not acceptable. The entire pool is compromised and bent. I asked for my money back and she responded that she would need to talk to a manager. A week later after I emailed her again, she stated that an installation manager would call me. I asked when and received no response nor have I received that phone call. My family and I are now without a pool, have lost thousands of dollars and get to look at a pile of aluminum sitting on top of a pile of sand they dumped under it with no resolution and no one reaching out to me. I will be taking legal action at this point. I do not recommend this company or their cheap product to anyone.

      Ongoing issues with NAMCO - ISSUE 1 - Was told by Namco a site visit was included in the cost of the pool installation. The installer, Dave C***** showed up and I was informed that it was a $75 fee. I gave him $80 and received no change. ISSUE 2 - Pool was supposed to be delivered in early May (after I purchased a house), delivery arrived on 4/28, which had to be refused (didn't own the house yet). Never heard back about a new date until I called in mid-May. ISSUE 3 - I was told at the ********** store that I would have to pull my own permits. The install process was delayed as Namco was informed they had to pull the permits. ISSUE 4 - Actual installation was delayed almost a week because of inclement weather and installations from 2021. ISSUE 5 - Spoke with Namco about the delayed install as my fiancé took the entire week off of work to accommodate. Namco called the installer and he was able to come to the house on 6/13 (6 days late). ISSUE 6 - On Saturday, June 11, Mr. C***** arrived and felt the need to insult me and make fun of my last name. He repeatedly told me that Namco changed my name on the order for the pool (2 months after purchase) from D***** to “Duchy” and he referred to me several times as “Duchy”. ISSUE 7 - Mr. C***** and his assistant used my backyard as their toilet and urinated by my shed (this with young children in my house). Never even asked to use the bathroom. ISSUE 8 - Promised arrival times at 10 am for install/excavation - Mr. C***** arrived at 11:30 for install and 4 pm for excavation. Sand was to be delivered at 4 pm, Mr. C***** arrived at 6. ISSUE 9 - Hoses and filter leaked ISSUE 10 - Within a month of install pump doesn't work. ISSUE 11 - Field rep is supposed to arrive at my house by noon on 7/20....it is currently 2:33 and isn't here yet. Solution - In late June with all of the issues (except fixing the pump), received a $200 store credit

      I purchased an item on there website while on there a $10 coupon piped up sign up email get 10 off well I purchased the item applied there code no 10 off purchased the item any way but emailed customer service 3 x I got no response so last time I do business with Nancy I hope they go bankrupt bye bye

I do see that the Customer Service Manager approved a $10.00 refund, back to the credit card used for your purchase.       Horrible experience with 2 different stores. ********** - the manager James told me someone would be coming to my house to make a recommendation for size and location. No show no call. Then I chased James for 2 weeks without even one return call. I called corporate and Mark suggested I go to rocky hill and work with the other manager, Scott who also made false promises and issued a quote for 8000$ offering to throw in multiple items for to my poor experience with James. Scott said he can basically do whatever he wants as long as I spend a certain amount minimum. Then after a week of no return calls or emails from him, he sent me a new quote for over 10,000 saying that his manager Robert did not like the quote he sent me initially. They said they cannot honor the first quote he sent me! I have been chasing employees at namco for almost 2 months , why should we beg to spend our hard earned money , chasing sales reps and being lied to? Spend your money with a reputable company that values and respects their customers. This company gives a lot of false promises and dishonesty, lack of integrity and a whole lot of wasted time.

Customer Service was able to put her in contact with the Manager of the Southington Store location and from her positive interaction Robert she is planning to go into the Southington location on Saturday 3/26/2022 to purchase a pool for her home.
