I purchased full dental implants at a cost of $52,000. Their website and brochure claim this is a one time payment for all services. I went for my first yearly cleaning yesterday and was told I had $500 “copay”. This was never disclosed at the time of purchase. I also complained when installed that I felt they were too big and too tight on my gums. They told me that was typical and I’d get used to it. Problem is they are so tight I can’t clean properly. I chose implants because I’m retiring in a year and didn’t want the added expense of dental insurance and problematic teeth. I took alll that money out of my 401k to pay for my dental health upfront based on what I was lead to believe by Clearchoice. I would like a re imbursement of $500 a year based on my life expectancy or free cleanings.

I have been in communication with this patient via email. The patient has agreed to come in for a complementary cleaning on April 4 and for him to be examined by the doctor for the tightness he is experiencing with his prosthesis.

On June 11 2023 I went to Clear Choice for upper and lower transplants, I paid you 34,000 upfront per their request with a cashier's check there BEFORE THEY WOULD DO ANYTHING There was no mention that there was more money to pay, and I'm not too happy that they have put ill-fitting dentures in my mouth so now I talk with slurred speech and now swallow my food whole without being able to chew due to the ill-fitting temporary dentures, not implants dollars I requested. By the way, they agreed amount of $34 thousand dollars which had to be paid in advance, in full I paid the total amount by bank cashier's check which is payment as the agreed amount, and again I did not want false teeth anchored to my mouth I told then I wanted tooth for tooth dental implants and they agreed to my request only to have DENTURES these dentures are ill-fitting, effecting how I eat and worse speak. they are so large and out of alignment that I bite my tongue, lips, and cheeks, and I can not chew any food, only swallow my food hole without chewing, I also was assured that I would not have big horse-looking teeth. they did not listen and did what they wanted to and did not listen, then had me initial their forms which they held and would not let me read it they thought being a senior that could do what they wanted. and So on June 11, they put huge big teeth in that give me pain in my mouth and not able to put my teeth together I would never recommend this company I told them I would file this grievance. Their answer to me was to pay for another $10,000. they "might" be able to fix the mess they made with my teeth. with a refund, I can then go to a dental transplant place that actually knows what they are doing

We have attempted to reach out to this patient to discuss this matter with her directly. We are sorry to here that she is having difficultly and she was scheduled for a 4 month follow up appointment that she did not show for. The four month appointment is the time in which we can make any adjustments necessary because the implants are fused to the bone by this point.

The patient received a fixed prosthesis, not dentures. The treatment that the patient was receiving was verbally discussed and also in print in a signed contract agreement by both the patient and the doctor. Our doctor has called the patient and left a message to address her concerns. We will continue to try to have her come in so we can address her aesthetic and function concerns.
