ON 6/16/2016 Harmony Home Improvement replaced the roof on our house, the approximate cost was $12,000.00, we have opted for a warranty 50 year 100% labor and material, since then we have noticed leaks from the roof into the house that damaged ceilings in multiple areas of the house , we contact Harmony on few different occasions to find a resolution to a leaking roof , as of today the problem is still not resolved , i contacted Dennis at Harmony as of today he did not respond , someone from his company showed up at my address to patch up the roof instead of assessing the condition and give me an idea what the real problem is, i asked for someone to come and assess the situation and the damage inside of house caused by the leaks , as of 12/8/2022 i didnt get any response from the company

      Tell us why here..Hello,
I have spent some time investigating the claim today and have proof below in chronological order of our communication with *** ****** of her complaint of the roof at 1** ***** ******* *** ************ ** and our timely response. I will summarize next.

On Friday, 12/2/22 we received a text to company phone number ###-###-#### from Mrs. ****** with photos of water around her chimney in her attic and photos of a roofing estimate dated 7 years ago on 6/16/16. After searching our records we could not find a file or contract with *** ****** name on it in our records or files, however in good faith we still responded same day on Friday, 12/2/22 to  Mrs. ****** that we would send our Roofing Foreman to look at her concerns. At the same time we also recommended that Mrs. ****** contact a Chimney Mason to investigate the chimney as this was where the water was presenting itself. Please refer to time stamped and dated text message #1 and 2 corresponding chimney photos from Mrs. ******.

On Monday, 12/5/22 at 12:35pm we received a second text to company phone number ###-###-#### from Mrs. ****** threating to call her attorney if we did no respond immediately to her concerns. After reading this text message I contacted our Roofing Foreman and asked him to prioritize this job which was already on his schedule for the day and make Mr. ******'s house his next stop. Please refer to time stamped and dated text message #2 from Mrs. ******.

On Monday 12/5/22 We estimate from text messages that our Roofing Foreman made Mrs. ****** a priority as requested and arrived to Mrs. ****** house somewhere between the hours of 3pm-4pm to address her concerns as Mrs. ****** was insistent that her concerns were handled immediately or threatened that she would pursue legal action. Our Roofing Foreman stated to me during a conversation of the event that that upon his arrival and after setting up his ladder on the roof to inspect that he was verbally assaulted and threatened by a male occupant of the home came outside as stated by our Roofing Foreman's best recollection "What the **** are you doing on my roof ****** *****r! Get the **** out of here before I **** **** ***!" Then according to our Roofing Foreman Mrs. ****** came out of the house and argued with the male in a language other than English or Spanish which our Roofing Foreman couldn't understand. Mrs. ****** then also demanded that our Roofing Foreman to leave the property immediately and not to perform any inspection or repairs to the roof. Mrs. ****** did not allow the Roofing Foreman to inspect or make any repairs to her concerns about the roof.  Please refer to time stamped and dated text message #2 text message from Mrs. ****** at 4:26pm on 12/5/22.

On Monday 12/5/22 at 4:19pm We received a text message from our Roofing Foreman that he was treated very disrespectfully and angerly by the residents and told that he was not allowed to do any repairs by the residents of the home and is reluctant to return because of the verbal abuse and threats made to him by the male occupant. Please refer to time stamped and dated text message #3 from Our Roofing Foreman.

In conclusion we made an attempt to investigate the roofing concerns of Mrs. ****** on next business day after receiving her initial text message with her concerns and were ultimately prohibited from doing so by her and a threatening male occupant. We did this all without proof of a signed contract or any other documentation from her or in our files matching the name *** ******.

The next communication we had from Mrs. ****** was through this Dept. of Consume Protection complaint of which we are responding to now. The complaint also listed a ** ************ After further researching our records we did find a file with the same address of the *** ****** complaint by the name of ****** *********** who is also listed on the complaint. We are willing to make another attempt to inspect the roofing concerns if  the customer Mr. ****** ***********  still lives at the home and contacts you by responding through your mediation, or contacts us by email at ********************************, phone text message at ###-###-####. We also still recommend that a Chimney Mason is contacted by the the customer as we believe this is may be a chimney issue from the photos provided by Mrs. ******.  There is no contract with *** ****** and the warranty was not transferred to her at any time.

      Thank you, Dennis
