I purchased a used 2010 **** ***** ******** with 6k down. When I test drove the vehicle I spoke with the salesman about a couple complaints about the vehicle- how loud it was and the starter didn't work. They asked I bring it back and they would fix it with no problem. That same weekend the car stopped running and left me stranded. I have brought the truck in for repairs more then I actually have had the car. The same initial problems persist to this day. I recently contacted them about the truck needing repair they have every excuse about the car and now are labeling it as me just not wanting it. Why would I want and pay for unreliable transportation.Business response

We are sorry that this was your experience. When you came to trade in this vehicle, we fully inspected it including a road test and found it to be in great shape. It was described by one of our mechanics as driving like new. We pride ourselves on taking care of our customers and every time you had a concern we made sure to address it adequately. When your A/C did not work, we repaired it. When your tire pressure sensor malfunctioned, we repaired it and when you had a concern about your battery, we replaced it with a brand new battery, all at no cost to you. The remote starter on your key was not working so we purchased and programmed a new key to ensure your remote starter worked, something most dealers wouldn't do. We did everything in our power to accommodate you and your concerns as we would do for any of our customers, including providing you with a loaner vehicle. I am rejecting this response because:
Everything that was fixed on the vehicle is still not working properly-starter-battery-loudness/rattle I asked why it was so loud and had a rattle .. it was fixed for a loose heat pan and told that the engines of that particular year are just loud but the loudness is a hole in the exhaust system.-leaks are still present-tune up needed every 20k miles as told by the staff but I haven't had the car for 20k miles.-Tire pressure sensor is still not working properly-hot/cold gauges aren't still working after being replaced

Please be clear that there was an issue with remote starter not the starter on the vehicle. We got a new key with a remote starter programmed that is working properly. We tried it the last time the customer was here, a few weeks ago, while we evaluated the vehicle. We put in a new battery in this vehicle, customer has not had any problem starting their vehicle since. Even with the initial issue of the vehicle not starting, through a conversation with the customer, I was able to gather that they left their vehicle in accessory mode. There is no hole in the exhaust system, we did a thorough check of the exhaust and found nothing, we don't have an issue re-inspecting this vehicle if the customer chooses. Before the vehicle left we completed a fresh oil and filter change. In addition, we put new brakes and rotors on this car. The customer has driven this vehicle around 5k miles since purchasing in March. At that point, it would be due for an oil change and perhaps other maintenance items. The tire pressure light is responsive, I was told by the customer that the tire pressure light is typically off but turns on when the vehicle's tire loses pressure. When the customer came down, I was told that the A/C problem was fixed and operates at a cool temperature. There was never a complaint about the hot/cold gauges. We have no problem checking this out, even though this is not a safety issue.Customer response
