    Tech came out to diagnose my a/c unit. I was told there was a leak somewhere. Tech added 6 lbs of R-22, unit is 15 years old. In less than ten hours all R-22 leaked out. Over $1,200 for this diagnose. Tech number two came out a week later to look at unit. In less than five mins this tech was able to find the leak and pressure test with nitrogen, for free! I suppose the first tech must earn a commission on his invoices! I have spoken To 4 different companies and they can not believe this company filled my 15yr unit with 6 lbs of R-22! Especially with how expensive and rare this R-22 is becoming. The company did reach out to me and was willing to give my money back only if I purchased a new unit with them. By then My trust in the company was gone. Not to mention, one of their employees stated to me more than once that they have over 13k customers and didn’t seem to mind if they now have 12,999! Last I knew customers were always right. Anyways, i purchased a new unit from a different company. I’m not one to write a bad review, however it’s been over three weeks and it stills bothers me that this company feels it was fair to charge me the full invoice. So sad that we are at the mercy of these trades. I will say the second tech was amazing! He knew his stuff and had only been working for the Comp for a week. Wish they all could be like him!

    Hi there, I am sorry that you feel this way. (our tech NEVER said that we have 13,000 customers and we don't care if we have 12,999!) They have no idea how many customers we have and I can assure you it is not in that range. Tech 1 did diagnose a leak in the system and quoted the recommended repairs, which were agreed to by *** ********** He did state that the TXV needed replacing and that repair was agreed to. She also stated she would like a quote to replace the system in addition to the repair. Upon tech 2 arriving with the materials a few days later, when removing the old part the area of the leak was exposed, which was not visible before removing the TXV. At that point, we let her know of the findings. We offered to credit the full amount of the repair towards a replacement system. *** **********stated that we were more expensive than another quote she received. We asked her to send us a copy of the other quote she received and we would credit 100% of the repair bill to that purchase plus we would install a new system for 10% lower than the lowest quote she had received. It would have been installed at a loss for us, but I'm okay with that to keep a customer satisfied. *** **********chose not to take this offer, even though it would have saved her money. We know that mistakes can be made, every person and every company makes mistakes. A companies integrity is measured by how any issue is reacted to. We run our company with very high integrity. In lieu of the perceived mistake by tech 1, I wanted to treat her extremely well. As a 25-year old company, we try to treat people very fair. Thank you.
