      I called to cancel my cable and keep my internet. After having a 20 minute conversation, the rep transferred me without giving me the name of the department or the number they were transferring me to. After an hour and 40 mins on hold, I hung up. I called back 2 days latter and waited 40 mins and no one answered the phone. Here I sit for the 3rd time in a week to cancel my cable. I'm 25 minutes into a phone call and was told I was being transferred and the wait time is over an hour.

      No stars!!! Our internet service in the HOA neighborhood is always going out. Spectrum will not refund you when it occurs constantly and doesn’t have a plan to correct the poor service. The internet can go out everyday and all they worry about is fining you for a late bill of one day than fixing their $&@/ service. They suck@$$!!!

      Constant outages.4-6 outages a month with most lasting more than 2 days. Technicians usually rude or just impatient. When a service resolution occurs it’s down again days later. I have to constantly reboot router which often times doesn’t help. I’m told either to replace router or have a technician come out. I’ve been through 4 routers in the past year. Absolutely ridiculous. Avoid Spectrum at all costs.

      Beware of Spectrum Charter's Misleading $100 Offer! I recently had a frustrating experience with Spectrum Charter in ******* that I feel others should be aware of. The company promotes an enticing offer of a $100 credit when signing up for a new service contract. However, my experience turned out to be far from satisfactory. The salesperson assured me that the $100 credit would be applied to my account, making it seem like a great deal. Unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived. When I received my first bill, I was shocked to see a $30 activation fee that was never mentioned during the sign-up process. To make matters worse, the promised $100 credit was nowhere to be found on my bill. I spent over two hours on the phone trying to resolve this issue, only to be shuffled from one department to another. The Sales department claimed it was a Billing issue, while Billing insisted it was a Sales problem. Each department blamed the other, and no one took responsibility or offered a solution. It was incredibly frustrating to see them wash their hands of the situation without providing any resolution. In summary, Spectrum Charter’s $100 offer is misleading, and their customer service is deeply flawed. If you’re considering signing up with them, be prepared for potential hidden fees and a runaround if issues arise. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a more transparent and reliable service provider

      I'll add my voice to the thousands who have given Spectrum a 1 star rating. Spectrum has raised my rates 3 times in the past year or so. My town has just gotten competing internet services so I'm seriously shopping them. Here are the bullet points. 1. The monthly bill contains no details of the reason for rate increases. 2. There is no warning ahead of time that rates will rise in future months. They simply increase the bill by $20 or so every 6 months. 3. Their chat sessions are worthless. I chatted with someone who was obviously located in some other country. I got boilerplate replies from them. People overseas have no input into the U.S. corporation and are merely there to accept complaints but not able to make account changes or even reply to a direct detailed question. 4. At the same time Spectrum is raising rates left and right, they are swamping users with ads to upgrade or purchase additional services. I don't need more bills coming in that are as big as a house payment. Why can't Spectrum's computers pick up the fact that I'm already using them, and save the expense of sending me postal and emails every few days? Maybe they could then lower rates.

      I waited for a long time after I talked with their employee to cancel my current internet service. During the waiting time, nobody and no response I think I was disconnected so I hang up. Today I checked with their chat agent they said have not found any cancel order. This Nathan also only know replying with what they have been taught to talk. I really don’t understand why spectrum can become the only *** ** ****** **** ** with such service. I probably will start a petition to vote them out.

      They are a monopoly company because there is no other service providers near me, and they continue to increase prices without notice to customers.

      I was due a refund of $47.00 from Spectrum Internet Services of ********** *** and was paid ahead for the month of August. I spoke to a supervisor, and he insisted that he would not give me a refund. I have been a customer for 8 years and never missed a payment. I believe this is totally dishonest! I was paying $94.00 a month just for basic internet. I have called several times trying to get my rates lowered and was told that was the price. Calling yesterday they tried to lower the price, but it was too late. I am now getting internet and phone service for $39.00 a month. Sorry, I would not recommend Spectrum to anyone.

      When i first started a program with Spectrum my internet portion was $74.99. With in the last year my internet portion has doubled!! Ive reached out numerous times to Spectrum and they offer no promos and offers to existing customers but seem to continually increase the bill every 3-6 months . They have no other options for customers who used to be on the ACP PROGRAM (like myself) and reps are trained to access a bill but not access customer needs. I just dont understand why i Keep getting told different things by reps and cant get a escalation matter to someone that can actually help me.

      I have had Spectrum Charter Internet Services for the past 5 years. I have contacted the company a few times for a problem with service or finding a cost effective reduction in services. For the most part the service has been good. I would say overall I was satisfied with their service. However, in requesting services at a lower cost by reducing service or when canceling service the company takes a hard nose approach and their “customer service” personnel can become, at the very least, snarky. The company will not prorate your bill for early cancellation nor will they offer pleasantries when a request for reducing services. It is unfortunate that consumers must deal with these monopolies and suffer both financially and the humiliation of “no customer service”.
