On December 15 I hired a Rudys Limo to pick me up at my friends house in *********, drive me to a local restaurant, and then drive me approximately 90 miles back to my house in ******** ***********. The driver arrived to pick me up and using his GPS managed to get lost on the way to the restaurant, though it was only 1.5 miles from the house, I pointed out to him that he was going the wrong way and he told me that he knew that. We were 10 minutes late and I was not there when my guests arrived. He told me to text him when dinner was over and he would be at the front door which I did. He was not at the front door and could not be located in the parking lot of the restaurant. The doorman located him after five minutes and he drove up to the front door.I told him that I had tried to call the office and I had texted him and what had gone wrong? He told me that I had spoke to him rudely as and so he was going to drive me home. I let him know that I would call the office and see what they suggested. He didn’t want to do that and proceeded to drive me home. His driving was erratic, he remained in the passing lane on **, many cars passed us on the right, and he had set the speed Control on **. I was very frightened but it was late at night and I didn’t know what to do as I was afraid of his seemingly disoriented state. I have reported this to Rudy’s, asked for the gratuity to be removed from the bill and some recompense made for my emotional damage. No one has returned my calls and I have been told twice the manager would be in touch. I am hopeful you can prompt the company to make this right.Customer response
