I went into ******* ****** in ***** ** to sign leasing paperwork about a week ago.I never signed the lease but provided my deposit and first months rent in the form of a money order.Later that day, i received a phone call of a family emergency.I had to immediately fly out to ******* and am now needing to stay longer term to take care of an ill family member.I called the leasing office that same day! I never signed a lease but was told it could take 30-45 days to receive a refund.I have been calling and leaving voicemails and sending emails to corporate and the leasing office to get the next steps on retrieving my refund but have gotten no response.Business response

Thank you for notifying us of your concern regarding the earnest money paid when applying for an apartment home at ******* *****. According to our records, your move-in application was cancelled on February 22nd. A refund check in the full amount of your deposit and first month's rent was processed on February 23rd, which was successfully cashed on March 6th. I have contacted management/maintenance here @ *** **** ******* *** in April 2020 I submitted a work order repair/replace the garage disposal in my apartment I also submitted an order to replace my gas stove. in my apartment. Because the stove is malfunctioning improperly and extremely old. October 2021 I submitted work for the garage disposal to be repaired/replaced. October 2021 I submitted work order for the malfunctioning/extremely old gas stove and microwave to be replaced. October 2021 I was informed by management. There is a new Maintenance team. When is maintenance going to repair/replace the garage disposal in the apartment I reside When is maintenance going to replace the malfunctions/extremely old gas stove and microwave. The above repaired and replacement was suppose to be done April 2020.Customer response
