      Whilst stationed in ******** ****** as an Active Duty service member with the U.S ****. I was eager to purchase new fishing tackle to test the waters in the ******* Ocean so I placed an order with 3-TAND LLC 23 March 2022 for a spinning reel (ZX-27) with extra right hand retrieve, extra double line roller pick up, extra oval knob, extra spool assembly featuring a red, white(chrome), and blue finish. The initial price was $1618 which included shipping, tax and handling. However, having placed the order I contacted 3-TAND with regards to the order but during the call the price of the reel increased from $1618 to $2158, a price I did not mind paying. I quickly made payments totaling $1600 but decided to withhold the remaining $558 until 3-TAND contacted me concerning the reel being finished and more so available for shipment. At the time 3-Tand made it clear that the order will take 3-6 months, of which I did not mind given the fact that it's a made to order merchandise. At month 3 I made attempts to contact 3-Tand via phone but could not get anyone to answer their phone, I did the same thing for month 6, month 8, month 10, and now one year. I will note around month 10 I sent a message on their contact email, of which I received a response. The response was that they're working on the reel and they are trying new methods on their product. When I asked 3-TAND (Mr. Ron) for an estimated time for the completed product, he said he cannot give me and estimated time. I'm no longer in ****** and it's now one year plus 2 additional months yet not a single word as to when I can have what I paid for. At this time I can no longer exercise patience with 3-TAND and I'd like to have a full reimbursement of the money I paid for the spinning reel. Not even a car takes this long to manufacture yet here I'm being fed one excuse to another from a company I thought was credible. Please help me with acquiring my full refund from 3-TAND. I will attach screenshots of the invoice. v/r

      Thank you for taking the time to speak with me today. As noted, I did leave Mr. ****** a detailed voicemail today, offering to refund him, or assist him anyway I can. In my request for a callback, I also requested him to contact you to put this claim on hold as it is damaging to our reputation, and to my personal reputation.

       

      Please find the attached:

      1. Original Specification Submission_********.pdf - these are Mr. ******** original specifications, which he later changed
      2. Original Estimate ***************.pdf - this accompanied the estimate sent to him
      3. Original Estimate_NO CUSTOM **************.pdf - the original estimate for a black and silver reel (not custom colors)
      4. Invoice as of **********.pdf - his invoice as of today - please note change order request on March 7, 2023 - this confirms communication and because our reels are not stocked reels and they are custom builds, changes do require time. We invested already in some of his colored parts and only have one more to go.
      5. Complaint Filed Received **********.pdf - with my highlighted comments on page 2
      6. Text Message Log from Dec 2022.PNG - a screen capture of the text message log since December. I produced a scrolling video for you so you could review each message in the thread, but it is over 100MB and cannot be attached. I can screen capture single screen shots if you wish.

      I am also attaching a screenshot from a conversation with another customer who I dealt with this week, for a simple replacement o-ring on a fly reel of mine. I sent him an installation video and a replacement o-ring last week. Please see his experience for this simple part

      I’m unsure as to what the resolution is from Mr. Ron. His statement includes several opinions and it’s unclear as to what the exact solution is. 
      The only solution I will accept at this time is a full refund on the money paid.
      I have attached several screenshots of text messages and that of other individuals who are/have had the same experience with 3-TAND LLC as I’m having.
      I’m by no means being vindictive but if the the scenario was flipped and a customer were to owe but $1 to any company pass a specific due date, it would be reported to impact the customer’s credit. There’s basic business principles involved and they need not be overlooked. Yes my initial order was a basic reel but it wasn’t a month after that I changed the specifications of the order. I called days following the first order which is the reason the price increased to $2160 in March 2022, it certainly wasn’t March 2023. 
      I won’t be interested in the product nor service any longer because there’s clearly a breach of the principles that of credible services in that I’m inclined to believe that even if the product was to be delivered it would be totally different from what I paid for.
      As noted, I only expect a full refund of the money paid to 3-TAND LLC.
