On March 22, 2023 my wife and I purchased a glass shower door from Mr. Shower Door in ********** **. We paid $1370.49. Even though we had previously had a shower door from another company in another home we had owned, we decided to go to Mr. Shower Door because they had a manufacturing plant on site. They were all very nice, the receptionist took us through the showroom, we settled on a frame and glass doors 1/4" thick as we had had before. Eventually, the doors came in, it was installed, the top frame was cut short so they had to come back to correct that. While waiting we noticed every time we took a shower, water was on the floor, not good since this bathroom is on the 2nd flr. We called, told them about the water, another install crew came out as I had requested a different crew. They told us to switch the doors, put the one with the outside towel bar on the right, and the other on the left, so we did that but to no avail. I had mentioned and still believe, the door is actually cut too short as I can get my finger under it which allows the water to splash out. Called again to have another tech come out and adjust the door. When he got here, he told us the 1/4" door could not be adjusted, only the 3/8" doors, which is $350 +/- more. We had NEVER been told the 1/4" could not be adjusted. We would have never thought that because in our other house, the 1/4" door from the other company in Town was able to be adjusted. Now the tech added a plastic strip along the bottom of the frame in hopes it would be high enough to keep the water in. It doesn't work, we have a brand new shower with a towel on the floor. We need to get another door, but cut long enough so water does not continue to splash out. It seems like an easy fix, but one which has not been offered.Customer response

Apologies for the delay, the person on our end working with the customer on this had a baby recently and we kinda dropped the ball on this one.
Anyway, I spoke to this customer this morning, and we are scheduled to have someone evaluate the situation next Thursday at 8am.

Yes, the business has contacted me and they will be here on 9/7 to look at the issue again. I will forward an update at that time and I'm sure the business will as well.
